Hey guys,

I just did some arena with a full S3 shaman. But it didn't really worked out.

First battle, i killed 2 of the opposite team and they killed my main. But my macros were all /assist Totemuc. And i couldn't pick the next target when he got behind the pillar.
And i was standing there on the middle of the field, and i wanted to run back but no one was following eachother.

I then adjusted my macros to /target focus and such, but making a focus target is pretty hard.
One game a mage and a hunter were on the bridge of blades edge, and i wanted to attack one so i made it my focus. After 4 lightning bolts he blinked back and the hunter came. So i had to target him fast and spam my "get target to focus" key. And before i was casting lightning bolts he already did an aimed shot and runned back.

I really hope anyone has a little bit time to help me here, i really hope it will works.

I think you're using focus wrong. *Your* character has to be the focus and you cast all spells to focustarget, which is the target of your focus (any active enemy). You only change the focus when your focus dies and/or you want to play with one of our other characters as main.

The no focus manifesto (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8052) has a very good write-up on how to hand control over to another character once your lead dies.

If you're determined to stick with a focus-based setup, you can still apply the same principles described there.

Instead of doing /assist <Name> or /follow <Name> change your macro's to /assist focus & /follow focus. Then, make a macro for setting focus with modifiers so that when you press it with no modifiers it does /focus Totemuc but if you press Shift+macrokey it does /focus <2ndmain'sname> and so forth.

That way, when your main dies you hold shift+macrokey and all of your alts that are still alive will now follow the 2nd in command (ie. your new focus). If your not into the whole modifier thing you could do the =nodead check that way it would set focus on the first one on the list aslong as they are not dead, if they are it would go for the next in line and so forth.

If you use Keyclone with the built in PiP function you can bind the set focus macros to your screens eg. say you do F2 for your 2nd main's screen to be the main screen it would do the set focus part at the same time that way all you'd have to do is switch screens and it will switch focus at the same time.

I'll try to find the macros (they are all over the place) and post them here for ya.

Setting focus on a toon thats not dead using no modifiers:

/clearfocus
/focus [target=toon1, exists, nodead][target=toon2, exists, nodead][target=toon3, exists, nodead][target=toon4, exists, nodead][target=toon5, exists, nodead]

And heres a thread discussing the Keyclone PiP thing [Keyclone] how to not get wiped when your main dies... ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10668')

Why doesn't this work? /script NewLeader("Totemoc")
