Keyclone and 2 pc's

Hi,
I have been considering giving multiboxing a try for a while now and with the new refer a friend i think its time i did it.

I have looked through a lot of the posts regarding connecting 2 pc's with keyclone.

I have licensed 2 copies of keyclone 1 on each computer.

Here is where i get stuck i am unable to connect them together, from what i have gleamed from other posts i need to enter the ip address and port number of the second pc and press connect. I believe i have done this but when i click connect nothing happens

First am i entering the ip :port number in the correct place?

one of the machines is Vista and the other is XP but i dont think this would make a difference. If this is the correct place to enter the details and connect what does the little * in status mean.

Any help you guys can provide is greatly apreciated, until i can get these connected i cant have a try at multi-boxing

never mind im a fool i relaised just after posting that maybe i should enter the ip address in the actual connect box, which i did and it worked.

Just as an extra question does it make a difference which keyclone connects to which, should i connect to the other with the keyclone on the pc that i am going to be using as the main char

It makes no difference - by default they act as peers :)
