I am considering starting a new group consisting of 4 Warlocks and a shadow priest, In my estimations this would be a pretty unstopabble PvP group, whilst not having quite the "clout" of a 4xMage and Priest group, it certainly has much more survivability, and over time, a greater DPS total as well. My question is, what do you think would be the best spec for the Warlocks? All four Heavy affliction, Demonology, or a slight Mixture?

The priest needs to be Holy/Disc, drop the shadow.

The warlocks need to be Affliction, so you can be mobile non stop while using the "fire and forget" method.

3 dots from each Warlockx4 = 12 dots in roughly 3.5 - 4 seconds if your good. As well you have 5 instant cast aoe fears for anyone that gets up close and personal.

Overall your guaranteed with this method to kill anyone in 4 seconds of cast time and just let them run around. As well the dots can be cast while running and you don't need to be facing the target.

I have thought about it too..... in arenas it might be deadlier than the mage + priest combo..... provided you can prevent the heals and the dispels.

Don't go shadow. You need healing of some kind. Remember, instant cast Howls are subject to immunity and dimin returns too.

My warlocks are only level 21 or so - but testing on the test realms indicates that in small number combat a holy + warlock team is amazing. It lacks the AoE though but PvE should also be much easier as you would actually have up to 4 tanks in addition to everything else.

If I were to make another combo, it would be 1 priest 4 locks. That or 5 shammies.
