PvP viability in WoTLK anyone? :)

Deterrence and Master's Call will become baseline.

Deterrence

3 min cooldown

When activated, increases the chance to dodge and parry all melee and ranged attacks by 25%, and resist all spell attacks by 60% for 10 sec.

Master's Call
7% of base mana
Unlimited range
Instant cast
1 min cooldown

Your pet attempts to remove all stun and movement impairing effects on the target, and cause them to be immune to all effects for 4 sec.

Wow, those are awesome. I'm not a great PvP'er by any stretch, but I've always thought Hunters were a little gimp. Looks like that could change for the better.

That looks totally awesome. I have mainly done my pvp on a hunter. I have one in bad gear at 70 and one in great 39 gear in the 49 bg bracket. I am more proud of my level 46 hunter in the 49 bracket and what he has been able to achieve. I am still working on my other hunter.

If i am not mistaken (and i could be) i also saw a new shot (black arrow or something) that had a 70% slow on it. The new kill shot is also very nice.

I think hunters will be much more viable (and a lot more dangerous) for my two copper.

60% spell resist for 10 sec looks really huge.

Yep, great changes. A step in the right direction. Though, I still think they should have kept camouflage and they really need to wake up about pets and resil. Without it, they are still a 5 second annoyance.

Yeah the one thing about clearing the snares is that you need your pet to do it for you. So now pets will have an even greater aggro draw than they do now. And in high level brawling my pet is only about a 2 to 4 second proposition.

Still though... it looks very nice... and who knows... they may find a way to buff pet survival a bit. Hope. :whistling:
