Hi I'm just starting up using dual boxing and find it great after using it for only one day:).
But anywho, with the new RAF exp boost im doing a couple of dual PvE leveling characters.
So I'm currently looking at 3 combinations that I will hopfully be able to lead up to 60 with RAF and after that we'll see.
1. Resto Druid+ Warrior
2.Resto Shammy+ Rogue
3. Priest+Rogue/Warrior
I'm def doing a pally/mage outside of these but I was wondering on the best combos for warrior and rogue which I definetly wanna level up.
Thanks for any input =)

I dual-boxed a Warrior + Holy Paladin combo to 70 and it was all kinds of awesomeness. Warrior was 100% Fury and did almost all the damage. The Paladin used the talented +armor aura (Devotion Aura?), which helped mitigate a lot of damage on the warrior (usually in zerker stance), and you don't really have to worry about getting healing aggro either, since the Paladin also wears plate. You also get the Might blessing for your Warrior, which really adds a lot of attack power.
It was incredibly easy churning through normal quests. Also, I think I duo'd all the 5-man instances up to Sunken Temple, at which point it started becomming too difficult. I also failed on getting to the hydromancer/gazrilla in that Tanaris instance (I wiped and said f-it), but I was really surprised at how far I got in the 5-mans with only 2 characters. Most of the outdoor 3-5 man elite quests in Outlands were also doable with this combo.
Super-easy combo and fast leveling via quests. One of the other nice things was that if you wanted to do something that's too hard to duo by yourself, it's very easy to fill out your group with other dps players, since you already have a tank + healer. You'll impress a lot of players too when they find out you're doing both tanking and healing.
P.S. I also tried a Priest+Rogue, Feral + Resto Druids and Enh+Resto Shams up to level 25-30 and they were nowhere near as easy and efficient as warrior + paladin. The two Shamans were fun, though.
Rogue/Priest was kind of irritating, because you really need the rogue as your main, but it's innefficient a lot of times. Stealthing and attacking first with Rogue is kind of a waste of time, so you'll feel like stealthing and pulling stuff to you with the Priest. But if you do that, then the Priest sometimes gets such a beatdown that you're too busy healing and you can't concentrate on controlling your rogue. So in the end, you just want to run up to the next mob on the Rogue and say screw those nice openers. The Rogue is just such a busy button masher class, that I don't like it at all for dual-boxing.

Did you have the Paladin basically stand in back and cast heals while you fought the warrior, or did you get the Paladin in there, melee-ing each fight as well?
When you say you did 5 man instances, did you do them while they were level appropriate or after you were a little higher level for them?
This combo does sound very fun - thanks for posting about it.

Just from hearing it sounds great. I also was wondering on how the
setup would be, both meleeing? or pally sitting back and
healing/off-tanking in emergencies while warrior DPS'ed
I was wondering about the level thing also on instances.
This might knock out a couple choices for me and other than this I
would prob go Druid+Shammy since i wanna get those up to level 60ish.
How would that level as compared to this pally/warrior duo.

On a side note, and this is coming from someone else only doing this a couple days - give some thought to starting with two of the same class. I picked two shamans. A guild mate recommended this to me because it will help get you used to the dynamics of playing two characters at the same time while only concentrating on one spread of abilities.
If you're like me, you'll run into a lot of little challenges that need to be overcome - getting macros right, etc.
Of course, I'm stubborn and had to try about a dozen combinations for at least a few levels, but I think there is wisdom in doing this (playing two of the same) at least temporarily. Nonetheless, in two evenings of getting things set up, messing with different combos a few levels each, tweaking macros, my two shammys are already about to ding 16. Leveling with two linked RAF accts is sick.
That said, you can bet I'll be trying the warrior/paladin combo. Warrior/priest sounded good because the priest could help with the damage via the pain spell and wand while not healing, but off the top of my head, it seems like it may actually be less hassle just to have the paladin whacking at something. This way, he doesn't have to stop casting to heal.
I'd still like to give a pair of druids a try - one feral, the other ...whatever. I don't think I could stand leveling a druid solo, but it sounds like a pair of them would be great, being able to REALLY take advantage of all that flexibility.

Two Shamans would be a lot of fun I think. I tried several combos up to the mid 20's before settling on the War/Pal, and the Shamans were a close runner up.

I did do a lot of melee, using Seal/Judgement of Righteousness for some extra DPS. But in all honesty, the damage output on the Paladin was not very good. I spent all my gold gearing up the Warrior, making sure he always had up to date weapons, so the Paladin had to "live off the land" and take quest items. I focused on +int and +healing, so he was pretty gimp on damage. In later levels, the Paladin just tagged along as a heal bot; With talented Blessing of Wisdom, you can chain heal your Warrior, fully heal up towards the end of a fight, and move right on to the next pull without any down time for drinking, and the Paladin will still be near full mana most of the time.
Blizzard is makings some sweeping changes to the Paladin with WotLK. It may wind up being relatively efficient to sit back and zap enemies with Holy Shock (lowered mana cost) and 30m Judgements (holy talent).
When you say you did 5 man instances, did you do them while they were level appropriate or after you were a little higher level for them?
Initially, I did the 5-mans when you first get the quests (probably just for RFC and Wailing Caverns), without much trouble. After that, I started waiting a couple of levels and did them when the quests were green/yellow. By the time I hit up the Scarlet Monastery Cathedral, fights were taking longer and I was waiting until the most of the quests were green. I think there were only two end bosses that I had to find a group for: Uldaman and Gnomeregan. The Maraudon Princess was pretty brutal, but doable.
Dual-boxing the 5 mans is not best way to go if you're looking to level quickly, but it's fun. And you get all the loot.
I should also mention the advantage of Crusader Aura for outdoor questing. Free mounts for the Paladin are also nice, if you don't already have a high level character to funnel gold.
