I've been going through these forums and it seems that Ellay is the ONLY successfuly multiboxer in 5v5 Arena. Is this true? If yes, how is it possible? Out of hundreds of m-boxers ONLY ONE PERSON has any kind of success in Arena? Not even an 1800 was obtained by other players?

Didn't someone in the PvP forum say they hit 1850?

And I believe a lurker admitted they got an arena title last season -- but I can't quite remember which title it was.

it is a matter of gear and comprehension. If you understand the mechanics of pvp and have had experience in the world of endgame pvp, multiboxing is not hard. Gear is the biggest issue for me, after 8 days played (AFTER HITTING 70 ) i have finally hit 300 resil and 9k hp,.... still a decent 4 dps team and even some 3dps can burst down 9k hp with ease.... and having only 700 spell dmg my "insta gib" isnt so "insta gib"....

fighting teams with equal gear is a joke. Any team with a weak link is easily spotted and blown up. Unfortunatly, there are very few that dont have a full resil team these days ( 4 seasons of free epics )

this is just my opinion, but multiboxing in it self is not a difficult task, the highest iv hit is 1550 but i havent arena'd since i had 7k hp and 150 resil... i guess ill just have to wait and see.

He's not the only one. But hes at the top for sure.

Boylsten (sp?) I think has done quite well with his Shaman.
Nice! That gives me some hope :) I'm trying 5 shamans.

I think it also has to do with the Battlegroup.

Some BG's are harder then others. More geared/good players.

But it is a combo of everything and until you find it out and tweak things, its gonna be hard. Its hard for me right now I cannot get past 1600 but I am trying.

It takes a LOT of skill. I have just as good or better gear than the guy who's rated 2055 and my team can barely hold on to mid 1700's. I'm 4/5 brutal with all the best epic gems, enchants and they are all enchanting to get +spell damage to rings.

There is quite a few multiboxers that are doing well and inching their way up to 2k+ ratings, as seen from the link someone else posted.

I'm not the end all be all some make me out to be, just happened to be in the right class at the right time :) Just takes practice and you'll hit it too!

If your not a skilled pvp player who can make it to 2k rating with 1 char i realy realy doubt you can do it with multiboxing...

Alot of players seems to lack the understanding of purge and how manny teams over 1500 would take a shaman who doesnt purge?

Take my holydin and i KNOW when i fight a skilled team of RMP as they usualy just zerg me and 2 seconds after my bubble is up, its mass dispelled by the damn priest if my warrior/ret aladin doesnt manage to interrupt him. Cant say im the best holy paladin but its fun to play priests who never dispell BOF so my warrior can run freely after the mage whos desperate at trying to frost nova him.

Personally i played warlock, rogue, warrior, paladin and druid all to atleast S1 gear(not counting the trinkets and some of the random items) My mage hitted half S1 gear before i started multiboxing.. I dont play any of the classes perfect but i know damn well theyr weaknesses towards other classes and i can take full advantage with it against others. I never been a great arena player either but me and my mate reached 1900 rating in season 1 with UA lock and Destro lock but we always thought 1900 was crap so we gave up and i stopped playing for a long while.

If i been 1900 today with my destro lock i could almost considered myself skilled! :)

Playing with my newb warrior and ret paladin friends it always ends up with me yelling at them and cause a bad mood for everyone.. My warrior messes up with hamstring and mortal strike and realy does weird things :) But then again i hate to play close with people i dont know so multiboxing is perfect for me! :D

How many non-Shaman teams are, say, 1800+ nowadays? Of course, Zin was quite good back in the day, but I think that was pre-TBC and I don't recall seeing much about other groupings. Admittedly, I haven't really looked.

Personally I hate this type of attitude. "Arena is easy. I'm only <insert low arena rating>, but it's because..."

I am doing ok in arenas too, the rating im at now does not represent what im usually capable of ;)
But a problem in my battlegroup is that there are only 4 low population servers, and a 5th fresh server.(2 months old)
So when i had this seasons top rating of 1817 i was ranked as 7th in my group.
In season 3 i peaked at 1920 but a rank of 25th.
In s4 there is only 1 team in the top 10 i havent beaten.. And those "brutal butslappers" are really brutal.
With the group so small, any team i face that gives 10+ points, just dodge the queue.
And when i finaly found a farm team that gave 6-7 points each win, i won 3 matches, then my keyboard went OOM :cursing: when the doors opened and i lost 27.
Then they dodged the queue.

Just wanted to add that rating isnt everything, i am however considering a battlegroup change once again.
