Hi, I have 2 accounts with RAF right now and can explain when you will and will not receive xp.

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO LINK 5 ACCOUNTS WITH 1 LEVEL 70 AND 4 FRESH CHARACTERS THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Do not have a SINGLE one of the accounts linked to the 70, it WILL NOT get xp. First off, anything over 60 ends up basically not having the full bonus of RAF, also your characters don't get 3x xp if their level is spread apart.

Account 1 (Level 70) should be unlinked.
Account 2 (Level 1) linked to account 3
Account 3 (Level 1) linked to account 4
Account 4 (level 1) linked to account 5
Account 5 (level1) also linked to account 4.

With this set up all of your level 1 characters will get triple exp. Voila! - Oh and a tip

If you are going to ding by turning in a quest: STOP. I'm not sure which but since it will seperate the levels of the characters they will not all get triple exp for turning in the quest. Only the first or the last.

1 unlinked

2 and 3 linked

4 and 5 linked

??

Also, when turning in quests, you get the bonus is you are the same level or under. So if the first guy turning in dings up a level, everyone else will be under his level and still get RAF bonus for turning in the quest.

Am I missing something? I never had a problem not getting the bonus when leveling up my first 5. Not once did any of them miss out on the 3xquest bonus and I turned in quests like normal and all together even when the first would ding. Maybe you're just not the same levels or close.

Boosting will no longer net the 3x xp in the near future (per Blue's post). I would still suggest not linking the 70 so you can run your alts thro instances to complete quests/get loot but if you dont care about that then feel free to link any accounts.

In my experience (don't know about anyone else), regardless of the levels of my alts (currently 43 44 44 45) all 4 of them get the 3x xp when killing mobs/completing quests that are not grey to them.

Also, regardless of wether the linkee has the same quest or not I still get 3x xp for turning it in aslong as the linked partner is present.

I didn't have any problems from turning in quests either when I played two characters to 31. Heck, one of them was higher level sometimes from doing class quests, and she still got 3x exp when she was a level above.
