With WotLK in mind, who should be the most viable/easiest healer? Shaman for the 'critical-then-heal-another-person' thing? Priest for AOE heal? Druid? Paladin?

I picked shaman because the warlocks life-tap all the time, and the healing stream totem takes care a lot of my attention in this regard. The warlocks have infinite amount of mana and that's what I like about this combo.

What do you think for the future?

Chain Heal will be nice. Honestly though HS totem is a bit underwhelming to the point I don't know if I would trust it to keep you topped off when you Lifetap. Honestly you might consider a shadow priest (VT) and the extra shadow damage debuff. Holy Priest with COL would help too. Or even a Druid throwing rejuv and eventually Lifebloom around. There are a lot of ways to go. The synergy between a Shadow Priest and a group of Locks is better. Of course the Pally would benefit from Shaman totems like Wrath of Air and such. Totem of Wraith would be a nice boost to your locks DPS as well. So that being said I would say either a Shadow Priest or Shaman.

I don't think that the healing stream totems will heal enough for a life tap. I would say go priest for AOE. I run pally, priest, and 3 locks. I haven't really play the 3 locks and a priest yet (been working on getting the shams to lvl 70). In solo play i usually don't life tap every other spell. I try to finish the battle then tap away (got yelled at once for tapping with half mana, healer said to tap afterwards and he would gladly heal me, just tapping in the middle of battle is bad because takes focus away from tank). But sense you are boxing you wont really get yelled at. Plus tapping every other spell will decrease you dps. So if you are able to go the whole battle and tap at the end, then totem will be useless because there is so much health you need back, this is where the priest shines the most (granted that chain heal can get the locks, but it is reduced per jump). If you put you party in the right spot then you can heal your tank, after a couple spells do a couple life taps, then do a couple aoe heals to get locks back up and continue with tank. Also if you want you can do like 3 life taps and link that with a priest macro to put a HoT on the 3 locks.

The Priest's Circle of Healing is by far the easiest group heal for when things are really going wrong and you don't want to have to think about anythiing, and I don't see anything in WotLK so far that would change that.

beacon of light doesnt sounds bad either but using 2 paladins would ofc destroy alot of synergy!

It also stacks well with Life Tap, AND has the added bonus of going shadow for leveling (and spriest have synergy with both pallies and warlocks for both health/mana return).

I leveled my priest (solo) as shadow and kept a heal set for instances. Worked just fine until Crypts eyeball boss. :)
