Hello. I'm new to this forum and multiboxing in general, so I apologize in advance if this has been brought up before.

I'm looking at purchasing some lower-end SFF boxes to multibox with. I realize most people would get a decent tower, but space is actually an issue for me as much as cost. Anyway, the problem with the units I've looked at so far is that they use USB ports and have no PS/2 connections available. The article on one of the wiki about multiboxing was written in 2007 and author stated that USB multicasting wasn't a good solution. He did not explain the problems he has with USB multicasting, nor how PS/2 ports prevented these issues. Since this will impact my purchase options, I need to know if the the article's comment about USB multicasting being too difficult is still true given given that Vetra also makes a USB Keyboard Multiplier ( http://www.vetra.com/844Utext.html ) and what the nature of the problem is.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
