It might just be that the eu servers allways are down once a week?

I I play on US realms.

It was weird, I believe it may have been some map servers, as some people on our realm got it, and other didn't.

Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms and Outlands are all different servers. It's not too uncommon for one to crash and the others not.
