My copy of Keyclone randomly disconnects. Everything will be going just fine, and all of a sudden the second character that i run will stop responding to keystrokes. Then i get the REALLY annoying Sonic the Hedgehog ring collection sounds over and over from both clients. I have to end the keyclone instance on both machines and then open it back up to get it to connect and work again. This happens every 5-10 minutes, very regularly.

I tried to limit the issue to find a possible cause, but was not able to. There are no rogue services running, no network dropouts, and the program seems to continue to run.. just looses connection to the other client intermitently. I run a hardware firewall solution (firebox) and have allowed passthrough back and forth from both machines. I have also bypassed the firebox alltogether with the same results.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated, as this makes it almost unplayable.. even though the software works EXCELLANTLY when it actually works. So i would love to keep using it.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that i am running the latest version. as of today's date. K i believe it was.
EDIT2: So out of 20 people, no one can help lol? /knock /knock is this thing on?

okay so this may sound completely noobish, but where do i find the system ID that your software is using? And btw, i am at work right now. So it will be quite some time before i can get that.

One other note, i am not the one that originally bought the software. My buddy was going to dualbox WoW as well, and he said it didnt really work out how he expected.. so he turned the second account and software over to me. So do you need the system ID from the computer it is running on now, or from his system (where it was originally installed?)

you can find the keyclone system-id under keyclone/setup/about

and be careful with account sharing... you should not use your buddy's account, as it will get you banned (and we @ dual-boxing frown on it heavily). best move would be to get your own accounts and not worry about it

Oh we arent account sharing. We had seperate accounts, then he got an additional account to dual-box, didnt like it, and just gave the second account with one level 5 toon on it to me. So i have full posession and ownership of both accounts and the software now. Thanks for the warning though, a lot of people dont understand the security risks involved. I run the Information Securities Dept at a hostpital though.. so i am very aware of security risks and repremand people daily about it lol. I will get the ID as soon as i can get to the house though. And thanks for the response.

So i guess that i am the only one that has ever had this issue? It seems as though i have successfully confused the software creator as well, that's a personal best i think lol.

But seriously, no one else has anything to try other than the nothing i have to try so far?
