Looking into this 300% bonus honour and im just wondering:

im thinking about going from 3box to 4box and i want to know when i group the 'recruiter' and 'new recruit' will the other 2 get some bonus exp for being in the same party as the other 2 that are getting +300%exp? or will tehy get normal exp and the other 2 get the boost only hence making the leveling all out of whack?

cheers,
Demon

Hijacking thread

A refers B
B refers C
C refers D

they get into a group and all level to 60. SO that means that C/B/A have 30 "free" levels to grant to other toons.

If C grants 30 levels to an alt Does B get 15 more free levels?

In essence do granting free levels make more free levels for the person that referred you?

Could someone level a new team to like 6 and see if this is or is not the case?

B can grant levels to A, so long as A is at a lower level.
C can grant levels to B, so long as B is at a lower level.
D can grant levels to C, so long as C is at a lower level.

That's all.

No, and I'm struggling to see why you think it would.

Having 6 characters in a single group is a bad idea in any case.

edit:
Don't forget that a single "veteran" account can recruit multiple linked accounts. To maximise my options, I went with:

Old1 recruits New1
Old2 recruits New2 and New3

That gives me a flexible 5 man team which, when played together, ensures that everybody gets the 300% XP bonus

For boosting, I can play Old1+New1 or Old2+New2+New3 separately and they still get their 300% XP bonus for going through an instance with an unlinked booster.

(holy crap, it took me THREE attempts to get that one edit done with no typos! Must be nearly time to go home....)

pretty sure ABCD would be 4 characters not 6

B can grant levels to A, so long as A is at a lower level.
C can grant levels to B, so long as B is at a lower level.
D can grant levels to C, so long as C is at a lower level.

I am just wondering if the "free" levels gained would count toward more "free" levels?

Lets say D grants C 4 levels
From this action alone can C then grant B 2 levels?

Technically C did level 4 times (all be it with the help of "free" levels from D).

What in-game benefits do we get while the accounts we play are linked?

1. Characters on both accounts can summon each other once per hour.
2. While adventuring with your linked friend/family member, you will each gain triple experience and honor.
3. For every two levels the new player earns, the new player can grant one free level-up to a lower-level character played by the veteran player.

The levels need to be earned in order to be able to grant a free level-up. Any leveling done via gifted levels does not earn you any free levels to grant.

Could those 30 lvls be used on a pvp server if they where earned on a pve server? :)

Same server, same team (alliance/horde).

Question....

A refers B
A refers C

And I'm partied with A, B, and C all the time, does that mean I can give levels to A from B and C? Basically making a character the same level with free levels?

The big thing is to level chars on B and C to 60, then the new on A to 29 and then instaboost him/her to 59 imo :)
