Looks like a great AOE like Mage's Arcane Explosion. I imagine 5 of those round robin would have taken everything in that video out cept for the big guy.

It shows the new Thunderstorm elemental talent spell..
A guy rides into 20+ mobs and uses it, throwing all the mobs into the sky.

Looks epic. I hope they don't nerf it to pieces. This will be the ULTIMATE shaman multiboxer spell.

It's epic until the mobs return and he's trying to cast chain lightning and can't get it off and dies. :(

It is also worth noting that it hit them all for 1.5k and critted at about 2.7k. Not massive, but chained it would pack a decent ish punch and using some , , , macro work, I am sure you could arrange it so that as they were repelled by one shammy, the other 4 cast chain lightning and then cycle. Maybe.... maybe not :)

More likely it will be DK's yanking Galv/Drek and running out of the room so he evades and resets to full... lost an AV to a Paladin doing just this for several minutes straight.

Although pulling the archers off the towers will be lots of fun :)

Yeah, seems to happen a lot though for some reason... I've seen it twice, and some guildmates reported it happening again a few days later.

Lets just hope they dont nerf the knockback :)

I'm sure there will be lots of LOLZ to come when shaman start thunderstorming people off of the flag area in EotS. I bet EotS will give Thunderstorm it's first nerf.

that vid just sold me on actually creating a shammy 5 man teamI was sold when someone mentioned that had already reviewed Thunderstorm and increased the range (not that the range mattered to me, but that they had reviewed and not nerfed.

The one major weakness of shammys is simply.. melee. Now with the ability to remove them by 20 yards and a good 5-6 seconds (x number of shammies you have) I feel it will make shammy multiboxers unstoppable.

Given that you may run into one.. it'll be merely an 'inconvenience', rather than a 'throbbing headache'

I'll give up NS in a heartbeat to gain an AOE knockback

Disclaimer: I've neither played the beta of WOTLK or had experience with multiboxing high level shammys, so I could be entirely wrong here.

I'm 99% certain that once all the QQ threads come in after WOTLK launch we'll be seeing a nerf of some description. More than likely something as simple as "..only affects 5 targets".

You either don't recall or never experienced the days when a couple of warriors 'won' AV simply by utilising their intimidating shout at a 'clash point'.

It gives the shaman multiboxers a new challenge, but also does not penalize other people who play shaman, and it gives the QQers one fewer excuse to hang on.

Just bored and thinking to myself, would it be best to walk backwards a little bit before you cast so that the mobs end up all flying in one direction away from you so that you could chain lightning them?

Dont be suprised if we see Dim returns on knockbacks since it will take players 5 seconds to get back to you and with a frostshock even more...

Blizzard however wont and cant balance talents from multiboxing because elemental shamans realy needs this and tbh its not THAT insane when 1 shaman got it. But it sure will be fun to knock people off the edges in EOTS! ;D

Wonder if you can knock people were they arent suposed to go aswell! :P

Wonder if you can knock people were they arent suposed to go aswell! :PI just read a few topics on this in the wotlk forums and it appears there will be no knocking players off of cliffs. It will supposedly work just like fearing someone near a cliff, and they will fall just along the edge instead. Wow, that sucks...
