There are plenty of folks using 1 PC to run 5 wow's. You'd have to have a decent set up. Check out the Hardware Tools section and you'll find plenty of posts about using one system to 5-box.

I run 5 on 1 PC as smooth as silk.

As do I, the slaves I run at 800x600 with minimum settings and standard Blizz UI and the main I run at 1920x 1080, full settings and all the usual addon trimmings :)

My rig, for reference is -

ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

1 x Sapphire HD 3870 XT 512MB GDDR4 256bit Dual DVI PCI-E Graphics Card

4 x 1GB DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 (3.25GB recognised)

1 x Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz

3 x SATA HDDs (4 instances loading from 2 drives and then the main instance running from the third drive)

1 x Samsung SM245B+ 24" TFT Monitor (bargain at under £250 last week!)

1 x Oldschool Samsung 19" TFT monitor

I would strongly advise 2 monitors though, I cannot imagine trying this with only one.

I have not had framerate issues so far :) Initially I had a lot of false positives and mis-draws, but a Gcard driver refresh sorted all that out and gave a fat boost to performance in other games... that'll learn me for being lazy and not keeping things up to date!
