Snarfs here.
I have one fast computer, and I want to Multi-Box probably 3-5 characters on a game (Maple Story, www.mapleglobal.com ) with no follow button. I do not have a wireless keyboard.
Will it work? Please reply. I'd continue asking questions to a Multi-Boxer on my WoW server but my perscription ends today. Thanks. :pinch:

That's a complicated answer, so I'll just say that if you don't understand the reason for follow just yet, you won't be able to manage without it. Even the pro's around here use follow, don't feel bad.

Can you not make it so that when you click an arrow key, all the characters move?

yes, but if the characters are not facing the same direction they will all go different directions.
use /follow

if the game has no follow then your going to have to try and deal with moving them with arrow keys, but it will not work well, if they are not all pointing the same direction they will drift apart.
On a side note wait more then 20 before bumping a post, we are all busy here doing our own thing, we will answer when we have time.

From what I can see from the screen shots you should be able to control them without follow. I'm not sure how far off lag would make character alignment break. Other facets of the game might prove to be more of a problem than staying aligned.

If you watch this video ('http://vboxing.net/v/index.php?q=node/87') you will see why most of us multiboxers use /follow for movement -- individual lag often makes characters out-of-sync so it's very hard to consistently be in the same place while pressing a movement key.
That being said, I don't play Maple Story so your question is kinda unique -- we might not be able to have an answer for you.
