Started the Netherdrake quests today... ugh..

Yeah, I checked them out on wowiki when the netherdrake first came out.

Saw all the collection quests and blew it off. I've got nether rays on most of my guys now and they seem to fly around just fine :)

Just way too many other things to do in the game to spend that much time on collection quests.

I have drakes on 2 of my solo 70's My suggestion is EGG HUNT cause you can hand in eggs all the time no limit and they stack in your bags
i got me drake on my pally in 1 2/3 week with just hunting eggs ( eggs give 250 rep per egg) and kill quests (solo boxing :) )
So just do the kill quests and hunt for eggs very simple and easy :)

That won't work when everyone is doing that ... like on my server, it seems :(

The Netherdrake dealio is a pain in the ass for sure. Had one on a solo toon and it really sucked getting it. If you want these I suggest just working it into your daily quest routine and maybe farm eggs from time to time. Make it a long term goal instead of a short one or you won't have much time for anything else. Took me about a week and a half of heavy grinding to get that drake.

There was a time when those were just about the only dailies you could do for cash, so it was worth it to go through the trouble. But these days you don't even need a flying mount-- just hit 70 and get to the Isle and start raking in the cash. Easy quests, lots of gold, rep rewards, etc.

It's one reason I wasn't concerned about re-rolling on a new server with almost no 'twink support.' As long as I have cash for a level 30 mount, I know I'll be able to afford anything once the group is 70.

I am on it too. Going to Friendly is truely a pain for a boxer.

There is really only the one where you poison the peons that are worth doing.

If you got a skinner / miner and dont mind grinding I can recommend empting your bags and go nuts down in the mine. Gets boring quite fast but you can oneshot most for loot (eggs) Pick them up with characters that cant turnin miner/skinner/herbalist quest and maybe finish http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11015 once on all to get to the friendly stage fast.

I mainly did it to get to revered for the +45 stamina trinket. Now that I have it I am taking the last half slow.

My old main is 4/5 of the way to her drake, but I never get on her anymore, I lost interest. She'll be my Wrath toon, so I don't need the drake for that, and when I need money I hop on her and do the Isle dailies.

I'll probably do the ogrila and skyguard dailies when my toons hit 70, but not Netherwing.
