Keyclone Lag - Appeared today

So I load up my characters and head into heroic SP. Everything is going fine until I enter combat at which point my keystrokes start to lag horribly and in some cases don't go through at all. This is on the main window as well as the others. It also happened when I mouse to a different window in order to herb. The cursor starts to move like it's stuck in mud and keystrokes either go through very slowly or not at all. What has me confused is that Keyclone has always worked perfectly for me and I haven't changed anything in my system. Just inexplicable today it starts to act up. Suggestions?

check your fps... it also sounds like you had a virus scan running at the same time, or something in the background eating the cpu

I went through my processes to see if anything funny showed up but I didn't ifnd anything. My fps stays the same. I have all windows except for the main capped at 20 and the main window is running around 50. I tried a restart but still having the same problem. As soon as I enter combat everything just stops working. so strange. hmmmmm

Going to try a couple more things ....

I also get the strange mouse lag for a few seconds when I exit keyclone, but that has never really bothered me.

well, can't seem to fix it.
but yes, my fps drops, but from 20 to 18 on the slave windows and from 50-39 on the main. I watched task manager and didn't see any other programs putting stress on the cpu/mem. As the fight goes on it gets worse. Fps stays the same but the keystrokes go through slower and slower until they don't register at all. During the first 4-pull in SP I dpsed down the first target and by the time the first fear hit I was unable to control my tank. In the time it took to wipe the rest of my group I was uable to cast a single spell or move my character. A few seconds later a couple of my movement keys went through and he backed up a few feet and turned around.

So I watched task manager again and when WoW stops responding, cpu usage is at like 50%, with 50% being idle! WTF is that? With 5 windows open the cpu sits around 70% and when I engage and performance goes to you know where the cpu usage goes down. I'm so confused.

I tried it without using maximizer and everything works perfectly. Wish I knew what theproblem was.

hmm... please make sure you are using v1.8k

other then that? i haven't heard about any issues. are you using multiple monitors? do any of your regions span the monitors?

I just wanted to thank you for replying. The problem seems to have fixed itself. I'm fairly certain it wasn't a Keyclone issue but I really don't know.
