I was having trouble with two Vista machines getting Keyclone to stay connected. It would connect and work for about 15 seconds then drop off.
Ultimately I discovered that if I put both copies of Keyclone into "Compatability mode" it worked fine. To do this right click the keyclone shortcut and select properties... then pick the settings as follows:
