Im having some problems that mobs and players get outa los of my box crew, is this a weakpoint of multiboxing or is it some neat trick to make them face the target?

Anyone else have these problems? im running a shammy team btw

Its a weakpoint, but i generally use the arrow movement keys to rotate my toons.

It takes a bit of getting used to but its not that bad

Some guy in here said he used to make the mobtarget all the char's focus, making them autoturn. I'm not sure whether this is correct and I guess it's pretty hard to set up with macros, but it might be worth a while of testing.

You were the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title. ;) Heh.

@ the OP -- it is indeed a weak point -- we have a harder time turning to face the target since our "main" would have to move us wherever we want to look. Ellay has gotten some flack for "keyboard turning", but it's really the only tactic we have to reliably change facing if we're at any way CC'ed on our main.

A thing, is that all our love is made off, sniff!

Btw is there next to mouse movement speed setting a keyboard turn speed setting? THAT could help a bit

When you say "out of los" (line-of-sight), do you mean they hide behind things, or they go behind you?

If the former, it's a weakness of all ranged attackers, not just boxers.

If the latter, and assuming you're playing WoW, it's a weakness of boxing and there's no way to auto-face anything in that game.

I just have my whole team take a few steps backwards when that happens - that's guaranteed to have them all facing towards the target again, but takes up space and is really only effective for caster groups.

In PvP, I use nets and rocket boots to make space, since I don't play Tauren and therefore don't have warstomp.

Anything to hold them in place while I reposition, basically.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but do channeled spells turn you around? I know that if you start a channelled spell, you will keep turning to face the enemy, so for classes that have that, there's a viable option.

Thats true, but isnt it that the spell doesnt start if your target is behind you? Annoying other part is the follow dropping :(

Few classes have this, locks, mages, dno if the priests' mindflay does?
