I'll have to say goodbye for now... After I quit my job I figured I could get a job with in the week which has always happened... So I played WoW while I looked and applied for jobs.. Well a week turned into two.. turned into three.... turned into a month and a half before I got a job.. Two weeks passed after that before my first paycheck came in.. Unlike most us I don't have a great income..$22,400 with two room mates a year and ~$17,400 with out. I do make enough to play 5 accounts.. The problem is I don't have much money left after morgage, bills, gas, food, WoW... I've racked myself up in some good debt and $75 from WoW could go to a much better cause...

So just a goodbye for now.. Ill be back.. after

$875 Credit Card
$400 Power bill, one month pass due
$176 Cable/Internet bill, one month pass due
$580 Morgage payment 6 days till pass due
$160 Cellphone one month pass due..

Maybe I should start one of those donate to me sites because I need money... Heard some lady got her self out of $10,000 credit card debt..

My wall o text / Story of Multiboxing

When I first got into multiboxing was before I even knew it.. When I use to play Asheron's Call I played two accounts. One account was for my characters, the second was my "buff bot" that followed me around all day, mainly only followed my alts around to help them level. When on my main my "buff bot would sit at our guild mansion buffing follow guild members" That lasted for around 6 years..

When I started playing WoW I actually started with two accounts, thinking I could do the same with WoW as I did with Asheron's Call... I mainly alt tabed and used follow.. Well a year later my two accounts (one I gave to a friend) and 3 others "roommates" got banned for using Glider.. should of read the ToS :cursing: Thought it was the same as AC ToS which was less strict... Bought a new account, played for about a month and quit...

So about a year passes... I lose my job.. Had nothing to do.. so my one remaining roommate said.. Why don't you get back on WoW.. So I did.. Joined his server.. Got to 70.. and got bored.. Met a few freinds, two of them great friends who soon left the server to join Horde PvP server... Knowing my only real good friends on the server moved.. I did also.. As we started leveling together.. They started back up school.. I was still with no job.. but had a good amount money saved up... So to get us to level up quicker.. I sarted playing their accounts.. Yes I know its against the ToS but I didn't know.. Still didn't bother to read it after I was banned a year ago :whistling: Started to get the hang of it.. started to love it.. having the power of 3 characters was amazing in WoW. I was just alt tabing but got the hang of it really fast. I mainly had their accounts in 100px by 50px windows to allow fast alt tabbing.

Then I saw a video of 5 mages casting flame bolt all at the same time.. I just couldn't figure out how this was possible, so I started searching, found out that I could buy keyclone and do this.. but at the same time I read the ToS finally and found out I could run Keyclone, but I should not be playing my friends accounts... So.. that kind of sucks.. Found out I could play three chracters at the same time, but now I can't cause its aginst the ToS and I would hate to get their accounts banned. Hmmm what should I do... Well I ended up buying Keyclone, raced over to Gamestop and bought two more accounts of WoW, the clerked just looked at me weird and I just smiled back. She was pretty damn good looking, should of stayd and talked it up with her.. She looked like a WoW nerd... Well anyways I am getting off topic.. Got back told my friends I could no longer play their accounts due to getting banned.. but I did introduce them to my 3 man team... They were so excited that we never had to pug again.. I think we got around 30ish before I couldnt stand not doing my own instances while they were at school... So I went and bought two more accounts... ^^ Thats how it all started..

Good move. Take care of things in RL, and then come back to the fun stuff. It sucks, but it is for the best.

See you when you come back!

Your calling it quits for the right reasons though, nothing to be ashamed of. This is pure entertainment, good luck and I'm sure you'll be back when the time is ready.

But watch out, while you're paying off bills I'm probably going insane bc I finally came up with the computer I want which is good, but bad lol Hopefully it will be up and running by the time you get back and I won't owe my dad too much at least  And hopefully by the time you get back I'll have a job of my own and my girls will be lvl 30 or so, doubt it tho lmao

Anyways, can't wait for you to be back bc we miss you!!!!

Wow will wait, the bank manager wont.

Good luck with it.

I was in a similar situation recently and had to re-assess my priorities, I've got a new job now, but when the numbers start closing it there is no point burying your head in the sand.

Good for you, I wish more people in the US had the right priorities like you do.

Your bills are'nt too bad, you should be able to knock those out fast. Imagine being 10, 20, or 50K in debt, like most people I know.

Wow, this forum, and your characters will all be waiting when you're ready to return! :)

And, besides, who says you have to stop posting? :)

I'm more or less in the same boat as you atm. My comp decided to stop working on me Friday night. WoW locked up and I went to restart it and it never rebooted :( Just doesn't do anything when I push the power button just kinda sits there. I'm assuming its probably just a power supply that needs to be replaced or perhaps even the case as the wires to the power button have become loose.

Anyways I have some debt that I really need to get paid off to friends and some classes that I need to take in order to finally get into the career field that I really want to get into. I've been just procrastinating and very extremely slowly working on getting them taken care of but instead of spending $1000+ to upgrade my now dead system I think I've decided to just go ahead and put WoW on hold for the time being and start working overtime at work and taking on a full class schedule this semester and hopefully be good to go by the time WOTLK is released.

Best of Luck in RLI'm still going to be poking around keeping current on the Beta changes and I'll probably keep 1 account active to play the AH so that I'll have plenty of cash once I get my RL back on track. But yea we all gotta do what we gotta do.

GL to you to Zite, get your shiz in order and get on back to MB'ing :D

Hey man at least your got your priorities in place. Paying bills and being responsible is WAY harder then boxing anyday. Just remember WoW is going nowhere and you really aren't missing out on to much. As a matter of fact with all that new time you have I am sure you will find more exciting avenues in your life!

GL to you!

Best of luck to you man. You can always poke around on here in the meantime. Hope you get everything in order. I did the same thing myself for a year. Because of it were now ready to purchase our first home. When you come back you'll enjoy everything more. Least I do.
