Ok I'm giving boosting a try, but i keep having my lowbie toons getting killed? So how far back can we leave them and they still get the xp for kills? at 25 in cath they have huge aggro range
I try to keep them close enough to heal my pally if needed but If i miss a mob or if a pat gets close it goes for them before me and there dead
any advice?

yep -
at 25 in SM there is a HUGE aggro range. you aren't going to be able to have your slaves near you until you have a big lead in aggro.
there is page with some placement maps, you might look at it: http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3039&pageNo=1
here is a part of it that you can use: (it's designed for a mage, but a 70 pally could do it too.)
Learn to use Line-of-Sight to get the casters near you - swing around a corner to make the casters follow you and get close.

Are you boosting with a prot pally? Because there is no need to keep them in heal range if you're boosting SM with a prot pally -- just take it slower (depending on your gear) and don't be afraid to sit in the 30% range (for Ardent Defender).

You can see where I place my 4 warlocks in this video -- you see? No heals and sh*t for gear. :)
