if someone has already made a post about this then you should use the search button to find it again.

personally i would say no to totem of wrath is not pvp suited, i dont think there is a single serious pvp elemental shaman takeing the totem over a the 'nuke button' (em+ns combo)

ToW is great for pve, the increased hit and crit is godly as it stacks, and even in pvp it is still very nice to have the extra crit, but i would rather have the nuke and just keep the searing totem down.

I think it comes down to if your spell crit is high you wont really depend on the totem too much so its better to take Natures Swiftness over the ToW

Ever since i saw tow talent i never considered it a good 41 point talent compaired to what other classes got, the only good thing about it is that it stacks. Come Wrath ill be getting it as the new 51 talent sounds too good to pass on.

hope this helps you

WotLK replaces the +hit with 6% damage.

+30% damage, +15% crit (if they still stack). Very nice.

chances of the new ToW totems stacking in the WotLK minumal, i think we will be lucky to even see then stay like this, they will most likely go back to their current 3% hit 3% crit, and even that if it stacks raid wide will be pretty imba

Not ALL totems are going to be changed to raid wide buffs. Some are going to remain as party buffs only in WOTLK. No clue if ToW will or not but if it does stack raid wide, I wouldn't expect it to honestly stack more than x2 if at all. It would just be too OP otherwise.

I can't imagine giving up the insta nuke for pvp, and honestly for doing heroics I like having the nuke if I need it as well as an "oh shit" chain heal if I need it. I know the ravengers in Ramps would be a lot harder for my 4 shamans if I didn't have the nuke to half life him and kill the dogs.

Don't forget they said BC Heroics were "too hard."

Whether WotLK Heroics will be any easier remains to be seen (as well as the dire need of a NS heal as a result).
