With the RAF addition, I jumped on board with the dual boxing. I'll be quest boxing, as my lvl 60 main isn't all that great for PLing through instances.

My question is what would be a faster dual box to 60.... a Priest/Rogue or a Priest/Lock.

I was planning on going shadow for the increased DPS through the priest and that works well with the Lock, but was considering a Rogue/Priest box.

2nd question would be what spec for the lock would be the best? I am thinking destruction for the shadow direct damage.

A rotation of something like .... Curse of Elements +Send Pet In + Shadow Word Pain - > Shadow Bolt + Mind Blast -> Wanding to finish anything else off

What do you all think would be the best spec for either of the 2 boxing combinations I mentioned above. Also feel free to throw in potential rotations :)

Thanks!

I'd go with a priest and lock as they're are a very strong combination. Regarding specs I'd say a disc/holy priest and a demo lock (although affliction can be good too). Shadow priests seem tempting but you'll have more down time levelling (you won't be guaranteed to get spirit tap to proc) whilst with a disc/holy build you just need to keep the VW and Lock topped up with health and can occasionally drop the odd DOT or nuke when needed. Your spirit on the priest should keep your mana topped up close to max so downtime is minimal.

I wouldn't do a rogue/priest unless you are good at handling groups, will be easy for your priest to pull aggro whilst healing your rogue if you don't keep on top of things...certainly do-able but the lock/priest combo I think works better.

I'd also recommend have the lock /follow the priest and setup mouseover macros to heal your team. Makes life a little bit easier.

Probably too close to call. A holy or disc spec would be faster for both though. Rogue and warlock can regenerate their dps (energy, manatap from heals) while fighting while a shadow priest will have to consistently sit if grouped and not getting the killshots.

Lock would be best as affliction and with a healbot priest, not shadow. Shadow will do well at 70, but not before unless you feel like drinking. I have dualboxed warlock priest and have tried several spec's when I grew curious which would level faster. Affliction/holydisc by a mile.
