Before I spend money on other machines I wanted to try out running multiple instances of EQ2 on my one machine. I managed that but I can't not find a way to send keys to the window in the background. Do the people do this use a KM (hardware) or software that doesn't require Innerspace. I bought Keyclone before I new it didn't work with EQ2. There was just nothing on the site that said it that I was able to find. It's fine though because I also play WoW but I am focusing on EQ2 for now. If anyone has any software solutions I would appreciate it. I tried Synergy but can't get it to work since I believe it has to have multiple machines.

AHK
Auto hotkey is your solution, just identify the windows as thread ID 1 and 2 and bind some keys and you are good to go easy dualboxing between 2 open windows on 1 pc.

Do we know if this is legal for EQ2? Using a friend account to test and don't want to put it at risk of ban. I will look into it. Thank you.

its kinda illegal since AHK allows some actions which can be considered as automatic actions... in other words - botting in some case...

Thats what I thought. I am trying synergy with my laptop since I guess it will be more of what I want in the end. Just not sure how well it's going to work. Does it work like keyclone? I have it where I can mouse over to it's screen but when I am playin on my main how can I get it to broadcast the keys to my laptop from my PC. I found a broadcast version of it but not sure how I get it to broadcast the keys.

Edit:
I got it. Although the mouse kind of sucks when I use on my laptop but thats fine because I don't plan on really touching it all that much.

Editx2:
I got normal keys (1 to .....) working but when I try to send Alt+1 it is only sending the key 1. Any idea's? gonna do some searching and googling but just thought I would ask here.
