Triple XP - (not YARAF)

We all know that Blizzard want players to get to 60+ to be able to experience "New Content". with the event of the "RAF Triple XP bonus", do you think that Blizz are using this as a test group, with regards to permanently adjusting the XP up to 60 to help new players and people who want to level alts / additional characters for the new WOTLK expansion?

I hope so because if they don't change the xp from 1-60 i don't think i will be making any other alts. I know they said they are going to change the 60-70 grind the same why they did for the 1-60 grind (the first 1-60 xp change).

That's an interesting thought you had. I'd like to think it will be this way from here on out. Honestly, the triple XP is just too gamebreaking. I could care less about the mount, the summon, etc. TRIPLE XP? I think you're on to something.

I wish they would do that now.Well the good thing is that it will take place when Wrath comes out. Not 3 months or so later like BC.

Triple exp is nice, but it completely breaks the flow of the leveling. If you actually try to complete quests, you outlevel the zone before you can complete half of them. I doubt they'd make it a permanent feature.

It would be nice to just make instant 50 or something. A cool thing is when you create a new account it takes an average of all your toons on that account and take 2/3 of that and that is there lvl. So if you have 5 x 70s on the account the new toon could be 46 starting. Then next one you make (if you don't lvl the 46) would be 44 and the next would be 40. Hell even if you have a 70 on your account the new toon could be 40 i would make alts if they could start at 40. Well not really 70, 80 cause that will be the new cap.

I just hope that the next expansion doesn't come out until at least 4 years. The BC is the first time i saw the first few raids (Kara, Gruul, and Mag) and i want to do the end game of the new expansion, but i don't have a ton of time to play to get there in a year or 2.

DaoC had a quick way to make level 20 to join a BG like instance after it's expansion.


Triple XP is a good way to expose new players and lets me play out to 60 for Outlands.

Instead of thinking it 3x XP, think of it making 1-60 1/3 the time it would have normally take.

Actually less if the veteran player has a high level that can travel faster and use the summon ability.
