I would like to setup a dual box but I want to be able to use 1 keyboard and 1 mouse to perform the same function on two instances of wow if possible. if this is not possible I would like to perform this on two computers. What is the best way to set this up? I am going to roll two rogues and map the keys identically on two different toons.

This question has been answered quite a bit on this forum. Try using the search function. There is also a wiki with this information.

there are a number of solutions that provide that type of capability... with varying levels of success, ease of use, support, and legality.
one thing to note... mouse passing won't work like you think it would. on the surface, most people think that if you can mirror the mouse clicks then your characters will all be in the same place. the problem is, there is no way to insure that the point of view on both characters is the same. in fact, it's just about guaranteed to not be the same... this is due to the position, orientation, zoom, and camera angle all varying... ending up with a different view port onto the virtual world... and your clicks end up in different points in that world. (even if you have a wireless mouse tuned to the same frequency across 2+ machines..)
there are some clicks that will pass properly... for menus, quests, books, action buttons and bags... but anything that goes through to the virtual world is a crap shoot.
i hope that makes sense.
in the meantime... check out keyclone, it should provide the shortest route from go to playing. (/shameless self plug)
if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to drop me a note.

That's a good explanation Rob - thanks =)
One question though - how do you guys use click and target spells then on slaves? Like blizzard, flamestrike, rain of fire, etc??? Can it be done or is it a 'do it with all X of my slaves and hope they're close enough" approach??

Thanks for your input guys. Sorry for not searching before hand. I found all the info I needed from the Wikki. I downloaded keyclone and started boxing. One thing I did not see mentioned that worked very well for me, I did not like the ability to not use my mouse. I created a macro to follow my main character from my second box and key bound the macro to all the movement keys.
