View Full Version : What would be the best way to do 1-15 when 5boxing?

As the title implies, I'm planning to start 5boxing sometimes soon, working on setting up stuff and all, but one thing that I'm wondering is, what do people do for 1-15 level ranges(15 being the point when you can start running RFC efficiently from what I understood). I'm not doing a 5shaman team, but a 5different class team(protadin holypriest mage lock elemsham), but training and such aren't a big issue since I'll be using the new blizzard offer which lets you summon people around as you please.

I'm wondering if I should do 1-15 in a group of 2 then a group of 3 seperately, doing quests, or if I group all 5 in the same place and just grind away on random mobs, or do quests with them. What do you think would be the most efficient? I was thinking of just grinding since questing at these levels with so many chars might prove annoying(can't really afford to skip collection quests), but even with triple xp from the blizzard offer, grinding non elites doesn't seem to be crazy xp at all.

If anyone with the same kind of setup(or just 5shaman stuff) can comment, thanks.

If you're running 5 toons with the new XP bonus, you've got a few options. If any of your toons are not XP bonus they are gonna get left behind bigtime in levels.

I'd recommend figuing out how few starting areas you can begin with depending on your class choices and level them up to about lvl 10 or so there. I've heard plenty of reports of people pulling 1-10 in about 1 hour 15 minutes. At this point you should be near enough larger cities that being near class trainers shouldn't be a huge deal, along with the fact that since you'll still be running quests that are designed to be solo'd who cares if you are training all your new abilites becaue the mobs are going to die fast anyways. At lvl 15, head to town, buy your new abilities, do any class quests you may have passed by (oops) and start yourself instance grinding. In fact I'm about to go check the XP post and see if people have posted numbers yet on what kind of XP they are getting doing non-boosted instance runs with the XP bonus.

Aye 1-10 takes around an hour with the EXP bonus, I did it in 1 hour 32 on my first dual boxing attempt :D

The EXP bonus isnt that great for grinding :(

Just quest with all 5 if you get the RAF quest bonus on all 5. It will go really quick. Skip any quests that are annoying/collection quests and move on when you start outleveling the area. Easymode.

I would just summon em all to one spot, do the first few kill quests there, get as high as you can go, then log out one toon, create a new toon in that has a starting place that you haven't done with this team yet, and summon yourself there. Do as many quests as you can while you are there, and repeat if necessary. The summoning feature makes it trivial to move around quickly. Once you get high enough, you can move to the next zoneand keep repeating. As long as one account has one toon in an area which you want to get to, you can always insta summon yourself there. Imagine doing this in Duskwood for Alliance. All that running back and forth between Darkshire and the graveyard.... you could probably ding a few times just from that! I'm sure there are tons more of those quest chains where you just run back and forth a lot. If you get creative you could make it into an art form :)
