Can octopus (or even keyclone) broadcast the mouse to multiple clients on one PC? I tried ticking a lot of the options but nothing seems to be happening. I searched and saw a lot of information but mostly people talking about using mouse broadcast and none about setting it up :D. Im sure its in here somewhere but I am half-assed retarded.

Is this for World of Warcraft? Its against their ToU if it is. Having a mouse broadcast to mutiple copies of WoW at once, would infact allow you to loot, talk to NPC's, and other stuff with just the mouse, and that's against the ToU. But if its not for World of Warcraft, I think I might be able to help.

Are you sure? I didn't see this.......sounds a bit weird that a mouse is treated differently in legal terms to a keyboard

Well it depends what the mouse is being used for, for moving around with multiple characters its legal. But once you talk to a NPC with all accounts at the exact same time, thats a no no. Or from what I understand it. It's the whole interacting part.

i dont think its illegal as long as someone is in control... they dont want Automated movements as in AFK botting. And yes Keyclone has Mouse broadcast, but Rob (Keyclone) says to not use it alot cause its still buggy. Just move cursor to where it needs to be then hit the mouse broadcast to turn in quests etc.

After much digging, and re-reading all the posts on the subject of Multiboxing, from blue posts too. I conclude that using the mouse and interacting with it on multiple accounts is legal. My bad.

Now to go through my history and figure out where I read that it was illegal >.<

And yes Keyclone has Mouse broadcast, but Rob (Keyclone) says to not use it alot cause its still buggy. not buggy, just slow as it bounces from region to region clicking the spot. not something i would want during combat, but fine for creating macros (makes 5x macros quicker) and quests

Thanks for the replies. Its not that big of a hassle without the broadcast so I think I'll just sort of steer clear of it because it seems a little in the grey area.
