my guess is he got a sponsor :)
ROFL. His new teamname is PBJ Smoothy. That doesn't sound like a corporate name to me.
Think he had losses on previous. maybe he doesnt like losses!

Couple of reasons, sorry I didn't respond to the general forum post as I don't want to clutter up stuff about just me there.
First I did get a sponsor :) and second was to keep off the heat for a bit. Too many threads popping up with me being #1 on it , I don't want to cause any knee jerk reactions though it is unlikely.
Other misc reasons, I want to play 5's. I love 5v5, but if you tuned into my live stream you can very well see how inactive the high end bracket is when your that far apart from everyone else. Being 2190 rated with only 2 other teams in the 2100 range that refuse to play against me, and most everyone sitting under 2k forces VERY long queue pops. I made a new team and played a few games last night ( have it currently looping on the stream ) to get points for the week.
Perhaps in hindsight not the greatest idea, but I'm not hurting for any new gear ( I find the shoulders pretty ugly ) but this should cool off the threads, and the even better news is this Friday night will be awesome for Live Stream since I'll be in the sweet spot the other teams are at for rating, will get tons of games in.

On the contrary, I think you are wise to lay low for a bit. I don't think you're wrong in suspecting that this kind of negative attention could elicit a reaction from Blizzard wrt multiboxing arenas.

Blizzard won't harm multiboxing just because one person is really good at arenas and because that happens to make a bunch of elitist crybabies angry. But if I was in a position like Ellay describes (few teams in his bracket, none of them wanting to play against his team) I could see why he'd want to start over. Not much fun when you can't play at all because the "pros" keep ducking you. Although it is one heck of an ego stroke. :)

If it becomes more of a problem for them (handling complaints) than it's worth, they will change it. Where that threshold lies, I don't know, but it's there somewhere.
Also note that I did not say they'd make sweeping changes to multiboxing, just mboxing in arenas. Actually, who knows what, if anything, they'd do, but just pointing out they could disallow it in arenas and not have to completely reverse their position.

Blizzard CAN'T DO anything against Multiboxers. They can't say:" HEY DONT BUY OUR GAME THAT MUCH!" ;)
Do all of your Shamans have the Arena Mount & Titel? I would play just for them in that Bracket.

Blizzard CAN'T DO anything against Multiboxers.
Blizzard can do whatever the fuck they want.
What if they removed /follow from Arena?

I find it very unlikely that Blizzard would ever make a move to specifically stop multiboxers. It's not worth their time and money to do so.

I suppose with that incentive and encouragement, I'll get another team to #1 and just sit there, I've got alts now to waste my time with instead of sitting in time with the new RAF change, so this will be nice.
I hope you do it live. :)
Really enjoy the live streams and look forward to seeing the next.

I'll get another team to #1 and just sit thereHey, can "another team" be my group of shamans on Stormreaver? ;)
Maybe I'll transfer over to your server and you can play as my healer/coach...

On the down low I am playing someone else's shamans with decent gear just to see how I fair, I wouldn't be opposed to playing some sets of shamans on various BG's to help you out :)

Ellay, if you get that bored and love 5's you can play my 5x team:) Just came back after a month off and for some reason, i just cannot get my head around them.. my DPS is crap my reactions are bad and i can't remember my buttons:)
My buddy who thinks his mage takes talent to play saw my setup... i have 4 full toolbars of hotkeys/macros and 1 tool bard of misc. stuff.. he was like HOLY F! i let him get in on my 10 losses this week:) 1 more week til i have s4 gloves... that month off hurt me:(
P.S. started 5x locks and 5x druids... now i spend more time writing macros for new spells than actual killing:)
