Processor Affinity

I run five accounts on a quad-core box. Since the last patch, I noticed that something is setting WoW.exe's processor affinity mask to only use the first two CPU's. I added some code to a home-grown key broadcaster to reset processor affinity to use all cores and that fixed the problem.

I can't be certain that the latest patch is doing this or if it's something strange with my system. Just a heads-up.

Just to clarify - are you running 1 CPU with 4 cores, or 4 CPU's?

4 cores. I doubt it matters though.

Blizz recently made some changes to the way WoW handles dual core CPU's. Note - WoW does not support more than dual cores at the moment, beyond what support is included in Windows.
