Hey guys!
Seems like my machine can handle 3 boxing so I've added another shammy to my crew.
I'm now working on: "The multiboxer's leveling guide" which will contain a list of all "slay 10 -x, slay 8 -y, etc.. and also grinding spots and instances todo list by character level ALL THE WAY UP TO 70!!! (No gathering quests) - what to do and what to skip.
So far i was using my 70 pally to boost the 2 shammys in instances but my third shammy is on my pally's account therefore i cannot boost it.
Is there a better way other then questing (collecting qs are a pain) ?
Hoping it will be finished by the end of this week.
If anyone is interested in helping im open for suggestions.

Go for it dude
I would be so happy if you could box up a multiboxxer lvling guide.
I currently waiting on my pc to get back from it's upgrade ( :cursing: ), to continue with my 5 box shamy crew. And i'm allready a bit frustrated about the lvling, its going so slow :D .(collecting quests)
I got alot of other 70's on other accounts, but with a 5 men crew I would need to switch 5 times a toon to get them equaly boosted.
So I would rather do some grinding (quests) with them then boosting them with a 70 char.
Hope to here from you again with a downloadlink 8o

My experience so far is that, in order from fastest to slowest:
1) boosting (in the 'right' places for your level)
2) questing, if done right and discounting travel time between quest areas
3) plain instance farming - ie running instances of the appropriate level with 'just' your team or whoever you can get to join the group of the right level. (i have a 5 man team, so for me this was quite a viable option)
4) bad questing - like the collection quests in shimmering flats stink :P
Bottom line to me is that with a bigger team, running instances are more viable - not only because of the faster and easier killing - but also because doing things like collection quests with a bigger team is just such a pain.
Would love to see a quest guide for multiboxers though, what I find with my 4/5 man setup is that I finish off quests in an area so fast (discounting collection quests) that I need to move so often that the travel time lowers the xp / h quite significantly.

Might I suggest making something for TourGuide? Or once you complete it perhaps I can convert it over to TourGuide if you don't use it / have a desire to do that?
It would be so much easier than alt-tabbing ;)

Friend of mine and I have some extensive plans in the works for a tour-guide multiboxing quest guide but it's a few months down the road. We're doing a 2 person, 5 man group leveling squad thats gonna focus on a balance between non-gathering quests and instance-grinding. Possibly a tour guide version and a web based version but we'll see what happens. tourguide is a sweet addon!
