Ok, I have only 1 PC and I was wondering how many clients could I run with my setup? Here are my specs: (basically a eMachines W3615 with 1 more hard drive)

Windows XP Pro
Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz processor with Hyper Threading
160 GB SATA II and a 200GB IDA (the SATA has my OS on it and WoW installed)
1 GB DDR2 memory
Onboard Video Card, 128 MB shared RAM

Pretty much my hardware sucks... Anyone know of a place I can get a cheap but good PC? Or buy cheap parts? Also, how can I speed up performance?

Onboard Videocard and only 1 GB of rams = 1 Client imo.

So upgrade my vid card and RAM and im good? I dont need a better processor? Also, where can I buy these parts for the best deals?

EDIT: Thanx for the fast reply :)

I wanna like Quad box or 5 box and level characters :P What minimum requirements do you think I need?

I recommend buying a new computer

- Min. 4 GB rams (I Quad box but use 2 computers)
- Fast Dualcore proccessor
- Fast HDD
- And a up-to-date GFX-card (something like 8800 GTS Nvidia card)

and for your own comford when boxing, look at the screenshot area for some awesome setups for the best
boxing experince.

ok, so the cheapest way is to buy a new PC with atleast a Dual core processor? and atleast 3 GB RAM? and then I could probably get a vid card seperate... Now, wheres the cheapest place to look? And what price range should I be in?

EDIT: I found this:

Is this a good deal for it? Or can I get the same specs for cheaper?

I would avoid getting something that has an onboard/integrated graphics card.

If u are short on money how many accounts can u afford then, and with the monthly cost on fx 4 accounts u can really feel it.

Don't bother boxing on that rig. From the single core processor, to the ram, to the video processor; you're boned. In order to properly upgrade these, you will need a new MOBO and PSU.

So basically, you can reuse your case (maybe) your HDD (possibly) and your cd/dvd drives.

True, but I am kinda short on money :(

what's ur budget :) maybe that would help us look at what you can get :)

if ur in the US then http://www.newegg.com/ ('http://www.newegg.com/') will save you soo much money it's not even funny.. although do search around just in case.

In the UK http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ ('http://www.overclockers.co.uk/') has some of the better deals (although you can on occasion find cheaper)

outside them two I'm not so sure..

Scandinavian countries have http://www.komplett.com/ ('http://www.komplett.com/'). has some amazing deals with a few overpriced ones (so look around again :) )

In Australia http://www.ccw.com.au/ ('http://www.ccw.com.au/') and http://www.pcparts.net.au/ ('http://www.pcparts.net.au/') are the only one I know of

anyways gl ^^

For accounts, I play on a Private Server :) I only have 1 Retail account... And I don't plan on reusing my rig now, just buy a new one :) My price range is anything below $600 (if possible). Would it be to my advantage to buy a whole PC or build one? What's cheaper?

Hello Coburn,

even though we would like to help you, you are playing on a private realm and is, by doing that, doing something that breaks the ToS and EULA.
We dont support this :)

Will you please show me how it breaks these?

Anyways, how does this contribute to my PC hardware? :P

As I stated, its against the EULA. We play on normal realms, pay our money and well.. We follow the rules set by Blizzard.

It dosent contribute you in anyway, since I wont help you untill you start playing on regular realms and pay the money that it cost.. I dont think multiboxing is what you seek.

I have a retail account... and play it often.. but when I get frustrated with the slowness of everything, I play other servers... Anyway, that in no way contributes to me trying to find the best and cheapest PC out there...
