is there a way to stop the clone from saying part of or all of what you are saying on the main.

Example:

I hit enter on Main which in turn opens chat box on alt. I beging typing they begin typing although some of the words are garbbled due to having the wsda keys in the do not pass...when i hit enter to guild I get to messages one from main and one from alt. Sometimes it's exactly what I said on Main but more times then not it's garbbled...

Anyway to stop this?

Believe me I've read a ton lol but this problem or annoyance to me I have not found the answer for!
Edited to say: I love DB lol have a gnome rogue and gnome lock and having a blast with them, this is just a small annoyance.
Thanks for the help in the other post and any info sent in this one! :P

Edited: Refined my search and think I might have found the answer....if not i'll repost.....Sorry for not trying harder earlier sometimes the older age slows the brain down lol 8o

DO NOT PASS LIST

As Diamond said use the do not pass list. You may want to use it as a white list though. As a white list you put in the keys that you want passed to the clones and only those keys. It makes for much cleaner boxing. Using pause will stop any keys from passing so you can chat or do whatever with out having the clones freak out.

Should you want to type on all the clones at once you can enable the DNP override, either manually on the keyclone front end or by using a hotkey set by you in the setup section. This will allow everything you type to be passed to the clones, makes it fun to do /dance /kiss /hug or whatever x5.

Wow, using it as a white list worked wonders for me. I'm pretty sure i read something about it not too long ago, but im still fairly new to multi boxing and didnt really follow it. now after using keyclone for a bit now, using DNP as a white list along w/ an override set up is exactly what i was looking for.

thx moose for explaining it and mentioning the override setup.

No problem, glad it helped out. BTW I just used my favorite DNP override command /exit :D

I use Enter as my MUTE in Keyclone it is good :DI tried that, i forget why exactly i didnt like it, but it just didnt work for me. white list works like a charm. I just set up my arrow keys, number keys, and number combinations in it and thats it! dont have to worry about any other things being pressed when not needed unless i want them to w/ the override.

Sometimes I use "/" to open chat (old EQ habit) preparing to type the channel afterward. I go between "enter" and "/" alot so no doubt I would screw something up like that. :)

But I think if I ran a 5 shaman team I would do some things a little different.

I just hit my "pause" button for Octopus if I want to type in guild chat, etc. and it keeps everything from passing to the clones.
