changing main toon, how ?

So i tryed some macros for changing my main toon if main dies, but holy F#!k i don't get it to work.

Can some one plz give a overall explenation on how its done, macros keybindings etc, would love if you guys can help me get it fixed, realy need it in arena 1900+ :(

Some idea on your setup might be helpful. If your doing five goons that follow one dude running around and the main dude dies and they all stand looking silly. Also the hardware/software setup, if your running a team on a single box, each toon a single hardware device, etc.

I have my 'leader', or rally point character, set to the leader of the party. Then I have the toons focus the party leader, focus follow, and therefore ezassist off the that. The I have a command in the private channel that requests a leader me and the dead dude will give it up and then all the other toons will refocus. You could set this up with a KVM keystroke that was a broadcasted keystroke (xkeys, synergy, whatever) as well.

ok this is how i do mine.

im also on a single box, and i use keyklone. i use the pip feature to swap smaller windows into the main screen.

Each toon has a set of macros called F1-F5. these same keys are also bound to the keyklone screens, so i i press F1 then screen 1 pops up and my toons all execute macro F1. same goes for F2 - F5

Now each macro does the following.
1) it changes the action bar to seconday for all slaves and primary for the master.
2) it targets the new master

the macros on the primary and secondary action are are almost identical, except that when theyre in slave mode ( secondary bar ) the macro's include a [target=targettarget] statement.

this allows me to switch toons in about half a second my mashing the same button a few times......
