I just transferred 5 accounts to a different server for a better battlegroup. 3 of them are successful. On the other 2, I get an issue that teh credit card was not accepted. I know the card is valid because I use it for monthly payment and the transfer payments. I tried it 3 times and now the account is locked for 24 hours ;(
Has anyone else had such issues? It is Blizzard recognizing that the same card is used on 5 accounts and trying to avoid fraud?

I tried something similar when I bought expansions for four accounts. The accounts were locked for CC payment until I talked to their customer service (I got a mail asking me to explain what I was using them for etc.).

check with your CC the better banks (B of A, Chase) will block such actions if they appear out of sort with normal spending...

Yeah I would think 5 of the same transaction in a row would likely raise some red flags at your card company. Give them a call to make sure they didn't put a hold on your card.

I had the same issue when I renamed my shaman team, and once when the payday for four of my accounts came up at the same time. Forget calling your credit card company or bank, that is not the problem.
Blizzard allows only 3 charges on the same credit card, then they deny all following charges. I guess they wait until they got the credit from the CC company or similar. After 1-2 working days it goes through again. Sucks to have this issue on the weekend though, because billing support is closed then.
I got this fixed by calling Blilling and asking nicely. They do unblock it charge by charge though. That means if you need 5 charges, make sure you deal with the 4th and 5th in one call. =]

I respectfully prove you wrong, I have 9 accounts all on the same card, and just did several server moves, no issues. I work for a bank and I can say 100% that if your bank or CC company is worth their fees they will block things that appear to be out of the ordinary until you approve them, or they will call and ask. I know for a fact that is the policy of Chase and Bank of America (both Credit and Debit Cards)

Might be difrence between EU and US tough, but blizzard just cut me off when i treid to do 3 char transfer right after making and upgrading 3 RAF accounts. Called account support, and they said it was because i had used so much money from that credit card over short time, but they unlocked it agian after talkign to me.

It is your credit card issuing bank trying to prevent fraud. Happens to me all the time especially with Blizzard. Happened after just 1 transfer today on the card I use for monthly billing. I tried a different card and it wouldn't even work once with Blizzard. My third card worked fine I guess cause I was irate with that bank the last time they stopped an online transaction.

No, in my case the credit card company had nothing to do with it. EU account admins said they where the ones who stopped the transaction :-)
