Hey there. I'm new to multiboxing and have limited experience on it. However, I came up with something I can't find the answer of. What I'm trying to do is to make my secondary character move exactly like my main, and not just follow him. Movement hotkeys (WASD) were easy to set up, but I don't know how to mirror the right-click mouse drag of WoW that moves the camera. This is my main form of turning the main character for me, so I would really like to know how to mirror this on my secondary character.
On my movement, I got A and D as strafe left and right respectively, and if I wish to turn I rotate the camera with the right-click mouse drag.

Awwww, why not? Is it illegal or something?

You could try syncing wireless mice (mouses??) together, but then there's always lag. It's not really possible to do it to a degree that most would consider acceptable with lag and such. If one instance of wow lags in the background for even a millisecond your guys will be off, and they'll just get further and further off every step you take from there. You could reset them by using a follow hotkey and running straight until they are both aligned again, but then I wouldn't know how to find an accurate way to walk the leader backwards until he's standing perfectly on top of the follower other than maybe walking the group into a corner for a few seconds. One small pixel off and your guys will be off again pretty soon.
So, if you can find a way to start your guys on the same spot perfectly every time you load up, not have any lag whatsoever (pc or connection), and use one wireless mouse set to multiple receivers I believe you could do it this way. At least you could do it this way until one of your guys gets crowd controlled , then they're off again. Not worth the trouble imo. If there were a simple, easy, and feasable way to reset your guys back on top of each other perfectly whenever you please, then I'd probably give it a shot myself.

This is another of those things that comes up *alot*, but in fairness it's pretty hard to find this with a simple search (well, it didn't appear in the first two pages when I tried :) ).
Shame really, because I know KC did a good write-up about it ages ago.
In short, it's because all of your characters are facing *slightly* different directions, even if you think they're not. The only time they're facing exactly the same way is after you zone in some way (instance, FP, etc).
That and the fact that not all toons are created equal - server lag and other factors will result in them facing in slightly different directions over time and you'll end up with them all over the place.
You can prove this without the mouse just by binding the same movement keys to all your characters and trying to get them to all go to the same place.
I'm not quite sure why you wouldn't want to follow the main, but I imagine it's an image thing, perhaps because you don't want the attention that we all eventually learn to live with
The closest you can get to giving the illusion of separate control is to assign character-specific movement keys so that you can move each one individually, something that's useful in certain encounters anyway.

no, not illegal... just not possible.
to work, all your characters would have to be in the exact same spot... facing the exact same direction... and have the exact same point of view. if all these did match, then (assuming windows would allow it.. which it doesn't...) click-drag on the virtual would be the exact same.
but... since you cannot get all characters to match up, not to mention fears and other events that will turn your characters... it's just not possible. sorry

That saddens me, but thanks for the great help though. The main reason was so that I would be able to accept quests easily with both, and control two melee characters easily too. By the way, how do you set it so that they follow a formation that I've seen in videos? Mine just do normal follow.
