So, I was lvling my 3 chickies in Durotar this evening and I ran into a 70 orc warrior who was helping a 8 tauren druid lvl. He saw me killing stuff and laughed at me. A few minutes later I get a whisper from him asking if I'd like to join him in RFC bc he was running the druid through, said I was more than welcome to bring my other 2 toons with me, so I gleefully accepted. As I'm talking to them, I find out they're trying to powerlvl the druid to 60 in 5days played time, and the warrior is just running him through instances, but in order to get max xp they need a full group, which is where I came in. So the warrior asked me if I was interested in powerlvling with them to 60 :) So... I think I just got my group a quick as hell way to 60! And with some random ppl who didn't call me a hacker! yay me! lol My only concern is getting overwhelmed by macros and such by lvling so quickly, but I figure that's why I have my multiboxing chan on Destromath + you guys :P I shouldn't get too too overwhelmed tho... right? I mean, I have a 70 shammy so I know how they work =/

60 in 5 days played time? I think thats a normal 'I-know-all-the-quest-i-need-to-do'-sololevlingtime.. You should be faster, and with WF totem + heals on the warrior you will speed up the levling process significantly.

I know how you feel i personally wanted to get 6 accounts to be able to cycle all my shamans with my protadin boosting.. However i found boosting extremley boring and im having big troubles upgrading my accounts on blizzards pages for some reason. Called billing support 7-8 times and they always tell me to wait 24 hours or another computer but wtf i tested 2 statinaries and my laptop at home, had to go over to my father and test there but still the same crap.

I felt the same way with you and wow and even more after Age of Conan turned out to be so boring :(((( I already have 5 70s and after getting my mage to 67 BEFORE i realised that i hated frost and it turned out to be pretty much like playing my SL/SL lock wich already is boring multiboxing looked cool. It was my real life mate who started and hes with 3 locks now and i had to try 5 shamans since it looks awsome and shaman is a class i always wanted to test!

I do not realy feel im having a hard time with playing even thought im new with multiboxing but im lvl 23 so i dont realy have much skills. I would certainly like to be powerleveled but in the end its grinding and dead boring to me atleast while soloing quests that before was hard as yellow are now ok while red. :) I did the quest Dangerouse at lvl 22 yesterday and the miner is lvl 30 and spawns 2 level 30 spawns!

However i wouldnt mind a boost untill i get Ank atleast since it would save me tons of time trying new instances! :)

if he is going to purely boost u thru instances, why bother with macros until yer done? from i see the only macro u would ever need would be something like: /target warriorname /cast Lesser Healign Wave. other than that u could pretty much use yer bars for totem rotations, ie 1 char has strenght of earth set to number 1, char 2 has stoneskin set to number 1, etc etc

I boosted the majority of my toons so I have problems playing a couple classes solo.

Since you're just boxing the same class I wouldn't worry about it, you'll be able to catch on fast enough once you're at max level.

5 days played time is long to 60...

I've got my 2 shamans+rogue to 65 in 5 (or maybe 6 - can't remember) days /played... With boosting to 40 through instances then questing all the way after that.... !

Expect to be 60 much quicker than 5 days :) - Sounds like you've met a nice person, shame there isn't more people like that in the game.

I must be doing something terribly wrong. I boosted my team to 29 and I'm at 52 now with 5 1/2 days played. I don't do anything but quest and some instances to complete dungeon quests. The only farming I did was for the gun off the dwarf in Uldaman for my 4xhunters. Outside of that, I "thought" I was being pretty efficient. I guess not ?(

If your end goal is to get to 60 or 70 as fast as you can, then go for it. IMO you won't learn much about playing your team as a team.

Sometimes i wonder if the journey to 70 isnt as much fun as being at 70. Sometimes it seems as if everyone is in a rush to have a 70 or 5 70s to what end? Just start another group of 5 or do you have a goal.



I'm in a relatively small guild and when I joined I was the only person that had gotten a prior toon to 70, so they were all first time players. I can't tell you how many times when they dinged 70 they all said "Is that it? I'm not OP now that I'm a 70"

Well, my goal is to get my girls to 70 before WotLK hopefully lol My plan is to do some 10mans after myself, Zite, my bf, and our friend hit 80. I'll just be 2boxing with my prot pally and I figured I'd respec one of my chickies to resto for the raids, then we'll have Zite 5boxing of course (4 spriests/1boomkin), then my bf will be 2boxing 1holy priest/1disc priest, and then our friend tanking with a DK :D So it would be nice to get them to 70 and have some time to screw around in arenas and such... but I would like to be able to focus on getting some work done for my dad before I move out in a few weeks (mostly so I can earn the $100 I need for my Blizzcon ticket XD) without rushing myself bc I have to be online when they will be =/ Hmm... I could group with them if they wanted me and I'm available, and if they outlvl me, then so be it. I can just make Zite run my girls thru stuff until they all have matching gear XD

Yup! I like that idea! And I can also hear what Zite will be saying, "Oh no... not 3x Robes of Arugal... Oh please... no more SM!" Mwhahahahah! :thumbup:

My first toon was a race to 60 so I could raid MC with my co-workers, they didn't boost me, I leveled myself, but I didn't see everything and a lot of it is forgotten at this point. Subsiquent toons where just even faster races to 70 for what ever reasons, so I am really enjoying just pluggin along getting all my gear level as it comes. I usually only have a bar or two of rest xp so its not going to fast, but I don't really care, its fun.

I think my 5 shaman orcs are around 12 days played now at 56 or something like that :D I'm really having fun running each instance over and over, for quests I only pick up the boss kill quests that are convienant, if its some long gathering quest chain forget it. I start the instances when the mobs are orange/yellow and end up moving along when they are green by the time I have run the instance over and over to get all of them the drops I wanted.

I know the gear will get replaced, but for some reason its fun / cathartic to learn these instances inside and out and actually pay some attention to the stories. I just love being able to run the instance over and over to get the item I want , where before as a solo player I was limited by the whole lfg/pug thing that was rarely any fun to have to deal with.

Ugh... stop talking about 5boxing and being able to run your own instances! >_< I want 5 shammies... I want them so bad I could, I dunno... I could something! lol But I really really can't let myself... I don't even have a job yet... =/ But... maybe when I get a job? No! I can't lol I don't have enough power on my poor little box to run 5 :( Oh well, guess I'll bug the hell out of Zite and my bf to get runs done XD If I'm going to drive myself mad in instances I've ran 50thousand times getting gear for our 5man (my prot pally, Zite's 3boomkin, bf's holy priest) then I might as well drag someone along with me lol

But yeah... the boosting thing died =/ I was supposed to be on by 3pm server yesterday but I had to help my dad redo our network since we got a new router yesterday (which my bf and I have to take back on Monday bc it doesn't work with our vpn >_<) and by the time I got online the druid was already lvl 18! I was way bummed... Because getting to 20 is the hardest thing for me on one or more toons lol Once I hit 10 I get extremely bored, and it sucks ;(

Anyone know a way to eliminate the frustration of lvling from 10-20?

Hah, that's a good one. :pinch: Before I started boxing I lvled up 5+ toons in Ghostlands bc of the rep items on Destromath alone, I think I've lvled up probably about... 2 more or so there on other servers... So I think I'm gonna try out The Barrens since I've only lvled there a few times. I mean, I know the looting quests sucks and I remember hating trying to get the drops on just one toon, so I'll probably end up switching to Ghostlands shortly, I just need to at least attempt a dif zone ya know? lol

I logging into the free trial and my one shaman looks like yurs same hair heh. I gonna make all 25 like that but I am not really happy with the look compared to drainia (the new allience race), I guess that your look is the best looking shaman hoard has to offer right?

Well, imo it is :P I have an orc hunter, and she's alright looking lol I mean, I made her as pretty as humanly, er... orcly possible :P And Tauren? Well... they're just cows lol Not much more to say about that lol So I made me some trolls girls :thumbup:
