I was looking towards a PvE set up with a pally tanking and 4 mixed classes, but im not sure what I should do for a set up, so im trolling for suggestions

PVE like grinding? or like instances? :whistling:
I personally liked running multiple hunters, nice solo DPS, mages give great AOE and single target dps, Priests with holy nova combo'd with mages are pretty neat.
Pally 4 warlocks are pretty nasty to, plus you get to play with the demons. Pets on hunters can be a little bit more maintence.. warlocks need soul stones. There is a lot of talk with multi boxing druids as well? Pally, 4 boomies? I love AOE grinding, so i favor a hunter for pulling and dual mages/priests for the dps.
Probably will have more to do with end game goals,

1 pally, 3 arcane mages, and 1 holy priest (insane aoe group and a solid heroic makeup)
or 1 (0/40/21) pally and 4 holy nova priest. (holy moly)
Those sound like fun ;).

Pally tank
Druid healer
Shadow Priest DPS
Mage DPS
Hunter DPS
Would be horrid I reckon, but you'd cover all armour types and most buffs....hehe.

That's the exact team I've rolled and I'm having a blast (no pun intended). They're only in the beginning 20'ies so far, but apart from the hotkey-hell of three different classes it's amazing what 3 AE'ing mages can do to an instance :)

I have a pally + 4 priest team. My intent is to have 4 shadow priests, with the theory being that between Vampiric Embrace and Touch I should be able to heal my tank and keep mana at a decent level at all times. At 40, when I got shadowform, I realised this was going to be slightly awkward at that level so decided to try something 'unusual'....
All 4 priests are now holy and im relying alot on wand damage and SW:P with the odd Smite thrown in for a bit of fun. It works quite well actually.
They are currently 45 and I will be respecing back to Shadow once the wand + sw:p becomes too low dps to continue. To give you some idea of how awesome my current setup is. With only instance gear, pally has 3500 HP roughly and each tick of renew is doing approx 530 (total of x4 renew). Playing about in Maruadon right now and just before the first boss on Orange side theres a bunch of 'slugs' I pull 5 groups at once and hoyl nova them all. :)

but im still open to other suggestions :)Personally, I would try out this group make-up. As you can see in my sig below, I run 5 different classes. It's very challenging to setup, high maintenance at times, and definitely not pvp viable (I learned the hard way). But once you set it up and you get comfortable running it, maintenance really isn't bad and it's a blast to play. It definitely lends itself very well to pve content.
The trick with running complex class make ups is spell synergy. To give just one example with my current group, my priest's smite, my boomkin's wrath, my shaman's lightning bolt and my mage's fireball are all bound to the same button. True, that you'll lose out on some damage potential since the spells have different cast timers, but they are close enough that it's not too much of an issue. Thus, it's somewhat of the same affect as running tank + 4x dps class. Plus, you have the added utility of having different classes (e.g. boomkin aura, pally blessings, arcane itellect, shammy totems, priest power words and the list goes on and on...)
In summary, try it and see if it suits you :) !
