Level Cleared - Group Composition - Short Comment
Level 32-33 1x Warrior (Prot), 1x Priest (Discipline healer), 1x Mage (Fire), 1x Druid (Balance), 1x Shaman (Elemental) - Zolo - Seemed easier than the library with this group.
Level 35 - 1x Paladin (Tank), 1x Shaman (Healer), 3x Mage (DPS)
Level 37 - 4x Shaman - 3 shamans where casting on the top level while 1 was tanking. As soon as Herod runs up to these 3, make them follow you and fight him closer by. Make sure you can easily run to the stairs when he does his whirlwind attack. Lesser Healing Wave is your friend, as he does a lot of damage. Make all your characters assist heal your target and you with lesser heal. The regular elites in the instance are easy. You can easily pull them in groups of 3.
Level 34 - 1x Paladin (Tank), 4xShaman (Ranged DPS) - had to be slow and steady on Herod with the aggro.
Level 37 - 5x Paladin - Run out of range when he whirlwinds, as it roots him.
Level 37/38 - 5x Shaman - LB Spam and Totems all the way. Positioned 5 shammies on top for Herod, started nuking until he made his way upstairs, all 5 stepped forward and dropped down, Herod was at 20% at this moment, he ran down and died. Fire Nova totem to kill all the adds in one go.
Tips and Tactics
- Run out of range when he whirlwinds, as it roots him.
- Position your slaves at the top so they don't get hit by the whirlwind.
- When Herod falls bring your team together to AOE the swarm of low HP adds.
