Group leader confusion
People will start noticing how your multibox group works. If you have killed someone 5 times with the same leading character, he will know who your main character is and remember his name. If you occasionally switch the main character, people will often still attack the previous main character, thinking you are still using him to lead the others. Of course some people actually check which of your characters is being followed by your additionals, but surprisingly few people do this!
Another variation on this is to switch to a different character right before attacking someone. It's even better if you can do this while you're casting your first spell. This way, the character that is standing in front of your group is not your main, but people will sometimes think it is, because it is standing in front of the others.
Capturing flags
Sacrifice
When you capture a flag and you're being chased by a group, you can sacrifice one of your characters. Assuming that you're running towards your base:
- turn autorun on
- switch to one of your alts
- make him stop and cast some spell so it looks like he's attacking. You should use a spell that takes a few seconds, so you can switch back to your main character
At this point - depending on the group that follows you - they will probably all try to kill the one that parted from the group. You just bought yourself some time and distance from your attacks to return to your base.
Another trick is to let your additionals capture the flag. This way your main character is less likely to be the target and you can manage the things around you better.
Group confusion
Imagine that you captured the flag and you're running back to your base with it. In this situation - while running - you make another character the main character and make all the other characters follow him. This way the flag carrier is following you and he will most likely be the first one that the opposing faction will attack. The benefit of this is:
- you won't take the main damage (and thus you're able to coordinate things better and cast crucial spells easier)
- if the flag carrier dies, you can pick up the flag again really quickly
- the flag carrier is standing *in* the other characters and is therefore less easy to target

Shaman
Visibility
Use Ghost Wolf instead of your regular mount, because it makes you less visible. The Ghost Wolfs are a lot lower, smaller and semi-transparent. Because of this you get noticed less and you can - for example - run for the flag easier.
Fighting Mages
Mages have area of effect, so you have to be very quick to kill them!
An effective sequence is to:
- first cast 1 Lightning Bolt or 1 Chain Lightning
- immediately place as many Fire Nova totems as necessary
- now you start a (chain?) heal or you start doing melee (which does very good damage on cloth)
By the time your heal has finished, your fire nova totems will explode. If the totems get destroyed, you should use shocks and probably cast some chain lightning on the characters who destroyed them (since it's not likely that the mage destroyed all 4 single-handedly).
Fighting Warlocks
Put a tremor totem down. Seriously, it's a life saver. The 'Insignia of the Horde' trinket is also a must-have.
Far away graveyard resurrection
If one of your characters dies and he resurrects at a graveyard too far away, you should put him in Ghost Wolf form and make him autorun into the main character's direction. Ghost Wolf is usually the better choice: it is slightly slower than your lvl 40 mount, but you can't be unmounted because of damage. When you're level 60, it's probably better to use your fast mount. This depends on the situation though.
