    Looking good.

But try get 64 gb of ram in it instead of 32 gb.
That way you can have more programs open at the same time, and also increase to 10 boxing later on.

Also the 8700k, if you overclock it, will get hotter than the sun (hello 100 degrees), so you really need atleast a 3 x 12cm fan radiator or custom watercooling. Also, they seem to lower the temps quite a bit after you have delidded it. Max i would have the cpu is at the low 80 degree mark.

If all you want is a minor overclock, then get a dual 12 or 14 cm fan all in one watercooler. it will be ok. For your 5 characters for sure.

I have almost that exact setup, but about two generations old. 6700k 4GHz base clock, 980Ti, MSI Z170A, Samsung 840Pro SSDs, 32GB 2666MHz Corsair Vengeance, 2x 1440p monitors. I box 5 with usually 60-90fps main @ 1080p, slaves at 12fps/renderscale 0.3, and watch Netflix/youtube and have a browser open on the other monitor with about 10-15 tabs. We won't talk about how long my tray is. I haven't touched the CPU timing or lid and it never goes above about 65C flat out; WoW 5box does not stress it. So, it's a solid option. I would dispute the 64GB personally. This is what I'm sitting at with three browsers, an image editor, 5 clients in old Dalaran, and a fair bit of background services running. It's about as pegged as it ever gets unless I'm running a much newer game at 1440p Ultra.

    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

That PC is more then powerful enough to box 5 comfortably. I have nearly the same setup, with a 1080 instead of the 1070 ti, but those cards are very close.

32GB of ram is plenty. I used to box 8 on the same setup, and had to lower the graphics to get it running smoothly, but with 5, I keep the main set to 7, and the rest to 4, with view distance maxed out.

I used to run the same setup on a older 6 core, the 6800K and that ran fine as well.
