Are you in heirlooms? I am guessing not as they make you overpowered enough to just run through dungeons your level.

You can drive the tank or the healer.
Or for that matter any DPS.

Once you have Grid/Grid Custom Layouts/Clique (or Vuhdo, or Healbot) configured... any toon can be driven and you will heal as easily as driving the Healer.

The tank is nice to drive, when you need to move the boss.
    Or pick up adds.
Or change the direction the boss is facing.

Another toon is nice, when you want to get an overview or what is happening...
Rather than being in the mobs face and not seeing as much of the overall picture.

    During RAF...

I would personally boost, and get a lot of teams leveled...
Rather than worry about dungeons at level...
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

This is the greatest advice you can get. If you find you are doing anything that is slowing your leveling to 81 down, then you may want to revisit that after you level and run out of Raf. The more you can level up, the better.

If you can boost - great.
If you quest better - great.

But keep leveling as many toons as you can, and maybe every 10-20 levels try out an instance for fun.

I found certain teams were much easier to box earlier dungeons with. I remember having a particulaly hard time with boxing 5 druids and trying to do dungeons the traditional tank, 3 dps, and healer. I eventually went 5 ferals and leveled so fast.

I found 80% of the challenge was learning how to multibox and less the mechanics (until 85, where it was a combination of it all).

I personally drive with the tank. That's just me.

Down the road, you can do a lot of combinations.
You can try a few different teams and tinker with the composition.

You said (in a private message), that you have an 85 on A and B.
    And are RAF linked:
    A > C > E
    B > D

Just use A, to boost as many combinations as you can stand doing, on BCDE.

I'd level four of the same class, just for simplicity.
And aim for either boosting four sets with A, or eight sets with A...
Depending on how much you can stand the boosting process and the amount of time you have.

More is better, because it opens additional options.
I had to level 5x Druids, 5x Paladins, 4x Warlocks + 1x Priest... without RAF.
Because I didn't think I would want to play 5x of those classes...
I stopped leveling teams with 5 weeks left on my RAF...
Could easily have had them through RAF in that time.

Even if you don't use a composition now (or even ever)...
You can use them for tradeskills, or a change of pace for fun, or to test a mechanic.
It doesn't hurt to have them.

I say 4/8 sets, because you have two hops in the longer RAF chain.
    And 2^2 = 4.

If you boost four toons on BCDE, with A.

    D & E has 4x Boosted Toons.
    B & C have 4x Boosted toons + 2x Granted Toons.
A gets 2x Granted Toons (from C) and because C got two granted toons, they can give one more.

    So:
    A x3
    B x6
    C x6
    D x4
    E x4

    Or:
    A x6
    B x12
    C x12
    D x8
    E x8
(You can only have ten characters on an account... so would likely want to transfer some from B/C to A/D/E...)

If you want to go to a server with boxers.
It's as easy as transferring your main (on A), along with some starter gold for bags and such.

You're on the new server with the one character...
    And you boost away...

You could also do some toons on one server...
And then some others on another server.
Just transfer when you're ready to start on the other server.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

im thinking about doing 4 druids boosting them with my dk an seeing how long it will take.
to get them from 1-85 then take one of the druids and transfer it somewhere else.
then trying out some warlocks and mages i think and hunters

i try an play right about 4 to 6 hours at night and then quite alot on the weekends.
beeing on call for work 24/7 does suck tonight lost lot of time had to go anser fire alarm calls heh!

im thinking the druids will level fast there are alot of things i want to do heh
make tons of gold is one of them lol but getting this down is another and having.
plenty of toons maxed level to do what i want when i can heh

The 1st to 80th (RAF) leveling speed, is a function of your efficiency with the booster (DK).
Druids, Hunters, Mages, Warlocks... doesn't matter what class is being boosted, they need the same amount of experience to level.
And will be /following (and then parked somewhere), while the DK kills...

The 80 to 85 process will vary quite a bit by class.
The higher the DPS of the group, in general the easier it will be to level the class.
Druids (any spec) have an edge over other classes, because of gathering ground-spawn items while still in flight-form... without having to clear mobs nearby.

Tradeskills take about as long, either way.

Approach A -- level the tradeskill, while you're leveling your characters.
Approach B -- go back to the zones, with a faster (flying) mount and level the trade with a max level character.

I'd tend to go with Approach B, especially during RAF.
Because if you add 10 hours (I'm just picking a number here) to your leveling time...
That's a fixed amount of time, which is taken away from your RAF.

Your first team takes a while.
    You are learning your configuration.
    And you're learning to boost.

The second team will be a lot faster.

And after that, third and onwards is where you will have everything down.
    Which means fast leveling...
At this point, you can do a team in a weekend if you play Fri evening and all day Sat/Sun.
Or spread the teams out over a week or whatever.
