Default software tool macros vs hardware tool macros

Hi, want to check is their a massive difference in software tool macros and hardware tool ones? Reason I ask is I see macros with mouse over’s and can’t see how these can work when you only really controlling the keys effectively in a 3 computer 5 alts setup.

Is there anything you guys doing it via software have found you just can’t do?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Each wow instance is its own instance irregardless of which computer it's on or if you are multiboxing. So the in-game macros have basically the same visibility to the rest of the world, your other characters, etc.

Again, not really sure what you're asking, but I haven't found anything yet that I can't do while software multiboxing that I'd be able to do with hardware and multiple computers, from a macro-ing perspective anyway.
No matter where you go, there you are.
