Default How to Render for Stage6 (Sony Vegas)

    1. Open the "Render as..."-menu, name your flick and make sure it's set to be rendered as an .avi-file.

    2. Open the templates menu, by pressing "custom", and start making your custom template by making sure video rendering quality is set to "best"

    3. Open the "Video"-tab and make sure you have the DivX-codec selected(very important) and set your frame size to whatever you wish it to be (prefferably above 800x600). Now I'm a bit unsure, but if I remember correctly, it's also advised that you open the "config" and set divX's internal settings according to the frame size (should stay that way by default, if you only render at the same size in the future).

    4. Set the audio format (not quite so important) to PCM uncompressed.

Render it and enjoy (also save the template for further use)

EDIT: I belive I forgot to include something about the bitrate of the video when rendering, if I remember correctly, in the DivX menu, it should be set to about 5000
