carbonite/jamba question

well, I downloaded the latest and greatest carbonite and what can I say. I didn't like it.
it took over the mini map until I found out how to disable that.
it took over the quest log and now when I click on a quest it doesn't seem to talk to jamba about the quest i've select ( maybe because it's an alt-only quest, who knows ).

I want my old quest log back.
anyone know how to disable Carbonite from taking over the quest log ?

PS> I would ask in the carbonite forums but they disabled the ability to obtain an account there ( because of the free addon rules ) and you can only post in their forums if you've got an account ( go figure )

I use carb and its great. You should keep the mini map as well (so you can see your nodes if you mine or herb).

I have questhelper and carb, they work fine also ....

You should add the TomTom addon. It works wonders with questhelper and gives you a nice big (customizable) arrow pointing in the direction of the next quest item/kill/person/turn in etc.
No need to configure anything, Questhelper talks to tomtom directly.

my complaint is about how the quest log looks under carbonite.
if I now press 'L' I do nothing more than pull up the carbonite quest log that is always visiable on my screen anyway.
it does a bad job ( in my opinion ) of displaying everyones quests, it only interfaces or tells Jamba when I've selected one of my own quests and I spend too much time trying to figure out if it's my quest or someone elses.

I want the damn quest log to only show my quests like the old quest log.

Go into the Carbonite Options and select the "Quest" Tab by clicking Quest on the right hand side.
The fourth option down from the top is what you need.
Make sure there is a tick next to "Open Carbonite quest window using Alt-L"

I hate the Carbonite quest display to...although it is useful to search for quests in its database.
