If you get a really awful key that you know you can't or won't do, just downgrade it.. So if I ended up with a Kara 9 I could just put in the key, walk out and it would automatically downgrade one rank - this can be repeated. You don't even need to be in a party to do this.. downgrade they key all the way down, get it out of the way then get a new key.
