Hm I had missed this thread.
As Wubsie is saying, not having to use macros to manage your team is a luxury for teams that aren't mixed. However by doing so we will be able to have more control and push each individual dps to the max by reducing the idle time to a minimum.

Optimizing the rotation for a team of MM hunters in WoD works quite well. It will be a bit troublesome if some but not all characters have the 4-set instant aimed bonus. So easiest is if none or all characters have it. Regardless of that, here is how I manage my rotation:

    Chimaera Shot
(6-8 seconds left to Chimaera) All hunters have more than 35 Focus: Aimed
(6-8 seconds left to Chimaera) Any hunter have less than 35 focus: Aimed-->Steady*
(1-3 seconds left to Chimaera)** All hunters have more than 80 focus: Aimed
(1-2 seconds left to Chimaera)** Any hunter have less than 80 focus: Steady
(Time to chimaera is less than cast time of steady) All hunters have more than 35 focus: Just wait for Chimaera
(Time to chimaera is less than cast time of steady) Any hunter have less than 35 focus: You sir have failed

*This means clicking Steady shot immediately after Aimed shot several times in a row, like this:
    1ms: Aimed
    2ms: Steady
    201ms: Aimed
    202ms: Steady
    401ms: Aimed
    402ms: Steady
etc. (This is the same principle as only clicking for example Aimed, many times quick to ensure that all characters regardless of cycle will cast the selected ability eventually)
Doing this will successfully make the hunters with no focus cast steady, and the ones with focus cast aimed. This will normalize any large differences in the focus pools for all the hunters.

**The length of this phase (1-3s) will vary on current conditions. For example if one does not have the 4-set bonus you may need as much as 3 seconds to ensure that most of the hunters will have had time to start and finish the aimed before going onto the Chimera. Compared with a 4-set hunter on Rapid and Heroism, then it may even take less than a second. Steady has same principle but not affected by set bonus.

Furthermore during the (6-8s) phase you can choose to cast steady even if all hunters have over 35 focus. Just make sure that you don't do that and focus cap to many hunters. Saving up focus can be useful if a need for burst is coming, so you just can burn many aimeds consecutively.

Summarized: Faceroll aimed and steady, the more the better. The most important thing is to not do anything that will force you to delay the Chimaera, like wasting your last cast before Chimaera with an Aimed which stole the last focus. Chimaera is God, and even if you think you can squeeze in an extra aimed before, any delay on Chimaera will impact your dps.
