Thread: Looting

    Default Looting

Hi guys have multiboxed in the past around 2-3 years ago getting bored with WOW so thought I might try a 5 man hunter or 5 man warlock team for fun. Im running Isboxer on trial to see if I can get it working with 2 toons to start.

Everything seems to be working fine they attack, follow, and accept quests fine with jamba. My questions is how do you get your slaves to loot when the quest calls for it? I can activate broadcasting to do it but it's slow and I can imagine with 5 toons that will be alot harder.

Any tips from the pros on how to get the slave to auto loot if they need it for the quests would be greatly appreciated.

Keep an eye on the AH and you can get 'em for 20-100g. Once you have 'em, you won't look back. There's a thread discussing this: http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/5...nd-other-stuff

+1. Nothing makes looting easier for the multiboxer than a Loot-a-Rang and the macro found in this thread.

I really wanted a 5 lock team to work as well as a 5 man Hunter but it didn't.. for me the reason was that should a voidy die it takes ages for it to rez.. and if I have the voidy the same button on all windows the pets are stunned, and all 5 try to be rezzed leading to my swift death in dungeons. I never managed to figure a macro to only rez if it is dead.. but also there is a cooldown on rezzing (unless you use a soulshard).

In comparison the hunters won out.. 2 sec pet rez and won't rez it if it's already alive plus no cooldown.

Easy [nopet] should work if i rember right.

You can always use iwt and jamba avd loot.

I'm pretty sure I tried all the no pet macros.. even so doesn't change the fact that they have a silly cast time, rez time and need a soulshard and even then it's still the same cd after. Also found the lowbie voidys a bit useless in dungeons.. they couldn't hold aggro from my aff locks.

Here's what I use on my locks. It still tries to summon them if I hit my attack button while mounted (if the pets are despawned due to flight) but if I dismount first or hop after dismounting to cancel the summon cast, it works like a charm.

    Code:
!if (character in "Warlock") /cast [@pet,dead] summon felguard; [nopet] summon felguard

Ah thanks but I macro nothing inside of isboxer.. only do it in game. Hunters are a lot less hassle for the moment and better pet tanks with buffs

The base macro works outside of isboxer... But I'll agree on hunter pets vs warlock pets.
