Very nice stun lock. Was wondering how WD's performed.

What is your opinion on the kill speed you have? I really want to give WD's a shot due to the stun lock but my monks just go to town on damage. (well seems like they do)

I think it comes down to gear. I really didn't spend a whole lot on mine, and not all elites can be stun locked that well. Act 1 elites of course go down very quick. Act 2,3 take a bit more time and possible kiting. But the stuns really help reduce damage and the procs like the arcane laser.

I tried 200% MF on my guys, and it seems like it makes so little difference. Before, I did act 1 to butcher and had a bag full of rares. Now, I get the same thing, even though my MF is up by 150%. Very strange... Maybe I was killing so much faster I did more packs or something. Either that or you need like 300%+ MF

I also noticed that I get feared a LOT more and get knocked back a lot more. Also, I'm getting these weird packs that are sometime stacked on top of each other. Or the yellow guy will have totally different affixes than his minions. I'm not sure if this was a recent change, or if it's because in MF gear I kill things a lot slower and I'm starting to notice.

I'll have to find it, there was a really good write up on MF gear that someone did some calculations on. I think 200+% mf gives you roughly .25-.33% more rares. It's not much overall but I suppose it does add up. I am interested to see the changes they do make to MF - as swapping it in at the end of a kill is not multiboxer friendly.

MF isn't really for getting more drops but for increasing the quality of those drops. You definitely want to stack as much as possible. You want quality gear with the max MF so you don't have to bother gear swapping.

Yep - when you kill a elite pack, there's a number of items that drop, and those items all have item levels. That doesn't change regardless of MF.

Then there's a calculation that determines the "quality" of the drops, White, Blue, Yellow, Legendary/Set Item.

So when you kill an elite pack and see two level 63 ilevel blues or whites, those could have been yellow+ with more MF or just better luck.
