    Default Getting ready for MoP

So now that MoP Beta has started and MoP going live is not far off, what do you feel is best way to spend your time? I was just starting to gear up my 85s again, but I'm thinking that I should start maxing out Profs. I have a ton of 85s and only my main team has maxed professions. So do you think an army of Alchs is still the best bet for fast cash at launch ( or shortly there after )?

I already have a full set of boA gear ( minus rings ) for a team of monks 8)

Having a wank while looking at the ele shaman talents :P

On a more serious note, I think it's too early to say what's best (apart from the obvious). 1-2 weeks down the road much more info will be available about professions, factions, mats, craftable stuff etc

true.. at the end of every expansion, i get no joy out of gearing up, knowing that the first quest greens will replace it. So I was just trying to figure out what to do until then . I know after may 15th I will be playing D3, but until then I guess ill just rack up Hks and level profs.

This statement bothers me a little. I dunno why. But having read it, ... now I feel "icky"

At the start of EVERY expansion since BC JC has been the most profitable profession. It is slowly over taken by Alchemy. Skinning is another VERY profitable profession.

I have a JC, Skinner, and a Herbalist. I make around 500k at the start of every expansion selling gems, leather and herbs. I have 5 alchey's who make me money after everyone levels their proffesions to max.

I would suggest leveling your alts.

In Cataclysm (level 85 cap), we needed to be level 75 for a maximum (trade) skill level alternate.
With a level 90 cap in MoP, we will likely need to be 80th for a maximum (trade) skill level alternate.
I'm aiming for 85th on the alts, just to be safe.

Gathering professions bring in a massive amount, initially.
As does stockpiling anything that the new Pandaren and Monks toons will need leveling up, which includes what they need for leveling their professions.

The cost of leveling your alchemy army, is prohibitive initially.
But a month or so into the expansion, the MoP herbs (and reagents for other professions) will come down in price.

I'd aim to have stockpiles of Cloth, Leather, Ore, etc... to sell initially.
To have a 525 Skinner, 525 Herbalist and 525 Miner on the team you'll level first... for the initial expansion period.
And to have your alternates high enough level, to do their professions to whatever point is profitable... once the initial over-priced period fades.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I'm gonna level my favorite groups from 80-85 that I didn't get to before taking a break from WoW. Realistically, if you haven't already started finishing up your tradeskills now, the closer we get to the expansion, the more crafting mats will cost as everyone tries to tidy up things.

On my realm alot of mats have gone down in price, especially ore and herbs and gems.

Now is the time to definitely finish off alts, profs.

Im finishing off a new team too 80 and then straight into another to 80 then RAF should be dry, and then taking them too 85 and just gearing them casually in RF gear until MOP.

Except my main and main alts that raid HM Raids, we are trying to finish off 8/8 HM and achieves before MOP and before I get into the Beta, as then I will be more fiddling in Beta then Cata.

Also inbetween I am trying to finish off any achievements I have not done, like Lore I just finished it all lastnight, so these things that I like, I wont need to go back and do, and can focus on thew new achieves.

We have for the first time opened up recruiting, as in taking random people into the guild, to prepare for MOP

On top of that Im trying to get Gold capped one a toon, its almost there, but I spent 55k on that deaths charger mount lol

you got a few months so level alts, finish off others, profs, achieves etc.

I'm leveling as many toons as I can which includes polishing off professions.
    I'm hoping to have 3 or 4 PvE teams(DKs, Shamans, Warlocks, ???) and 1 or maybe 2 PvE teams(Mage, ???)
I'm probably just going to level up alchemy since it will be really cheap right now then level an herbalist per team and that should make alchemy not too bad once MoP hits.
Jewelcrafting is too much of a pain in the rear for me to consider leveling. Although I might look into having a JCer per team.
    I triple box on Arthas(US-PvP) and Magtheridon(US-PvP)
I also have solo toons on Turalyon(my main raider) and Destromath

Not much to do really. My gear sucks on most of my guys but I may do a bit of farming now, and I definitely will when mop comes out.
